Great game to watch. I loved the intent by both teams to attack until the end. Tahs a little better, but the Reds brought a lot more than some might have thought (not me - I thought the Reds would win). Some very exciting young players in the Reds.

Interestingly, at first viewing, I thought Kerevi’s defence was very good. Made good decisions and made his tackles stick. Given the score I won’t be surprised if I’m wrong on review, but Kerevi seemed spot on.

I thought all the guys that weren't locks for the Wallaby team really put their hands up. Timu, Kerevi, Rona, Tupou, Simmons etc.

Yep, I'd agree. Kerevi looked very good. HAS to be starting at 13 for the Wallabies, you'd think.

College basketball score in the end. Great game. Stewart's goalicking was shot to hell. Didnt stay in with it, kept trotting off to the left halfway into his follow through, same as Beaudy a couple of seasons ago. Keep head down, knee over the ball.
A great player like Will Genia kicks those in his sleep
Isaia Toeava is just a dropkick.

The only thing that makes me nervous about that is was I felt exactly the same last year and it didn’t end so well. I can see arguements for each of TK, Rona, Kerevi & Hodge. But I agree Kerevi is in the best form.

Winning or loosing doesn't mean anything much for us right now. I'd rather all our players focus on their game play and skills Daugunu or Tuttle could easily come in and slot many of those kicks. But getting Stewart some quality time at 10 and looks like we've found one of our best halves combinations Tuttle, might be worth a try in place of Sorovi but otherwise it was a good effort for the Reds.

Remember the Waratahs are much more the finished product the Reds over half of our 23 are 23 or younger!

I wish Clarke would shut up (or at least do some basic research) about this game being the oldest rivalry in Australian sport. NSW started playing Vic in cricket almost 30 years before the first NSW v Qld union match. Oldest Union rivalry for sure
