Added to that, I find little merit in any of your contributions.

I do note,that you’ve substantially edited your original racist post that I objected to.

Thanks for the shout out Quickie...have been working on an element hinted upon by B&W in regards to meals. I give you the breakfasts of the AAGPS....mmmm

The Kings School.
A full English breakfast including bacon, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans and eggs, and a beverage such as coffee or tea. Usually served on mummy's finest china in the conservatory at 9am

Shore School
Just like their Puritan cousins of old the Shoreman start their day with coarse, dark bread with butter or cheese and porridge washed down with a large glass of Pauls farmhouse gold full cream milk. Usually eaten in the parlour after morning prayers.

Newington College
A real mix up of styles that have evolved over the past decades. Still there is the traditional Kagianas (Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes and Feta) and Olive and Feta Bread – Eliopsomo enjoyed by the Greek lads, while the newly arrived Tongan boys enjoy traditional tongan pancakes wrapped in 3kg of bacon. All are enjoyed while sunning themselves on the slope of Johnson oval.

The Scots College
No one really cooks in Bellevue Hill, so the private jet has to be sent out for a collection of morning goodies such as the Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata from Norma's NYC, the Gulls' Egg Omelette from Boisdale, London and The Bacon Bling sold at Tangberrys UK. All washed down with a large mug of Dr Rodchenkov special morning "milkshake" from the local milk bar in Sochi. Got to keep them boys growing!

St Ignatius College
After the morning ritual of congratulating themselves for being born View boys, they will often be found tucking into a large stack of Espresso Waffles with Mocha Drizzle or Apple Cinnamon Bostock. Those who don't like the sweet with enjoy the Kimchi, Bacon, and Egg Danish. Of course Champagne is a perfectly acceptable breakfast beverage. All served while sitting around the pool watching the staff weed the lawns.

St Joseph's College
To keep the boys mean and keen for the weekend ahead, the Joeys kitchen have been known to serve food that inspired fear, terror and desire to eat grass. While the watery, green coloured powdered eggs do induce dry retching, and many young teeth are broken on the stone cold toast, the best dish is found to be the cold baked beans with small bits of fatty bacon. Of course a boy can fill up on the real boarding school terror of three day old cooked pork sausages and mixed with cold tinned spaghetti. All washed down with gallons of cheap, nasty tea.

Joeys legendary "Horse Ball"

Back in the 1970's and early 80's, Joeys would serve for dinner, lunch or punishment Deep-fried Meatballs.
These, when cooked with the correct amount of quality meat, spices and breadcrumbs were wonderful and were often found in your local Italian home on Sundays for lunch. The SJC variety though were not.

The joeys horse ball recipe was the following.
  • Ground beef ~ 80-55% fat, fresh from the butcher off cuts bin usually containing too much blood
  • Bulk powdered egg
  • NO Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • NO parsley, chopped
  • NO freshly ground black pepper
  • 1kg of salt
  • Rough and prepackaged prison grade breadcrumbs
  • Old nasty cooking oil scrounged from the local fish and chip shop used for deep frying in batches of 50 at a time.
The "horse balls" where then often over cooked or under cooked. On placing a fork through the tough outer shell, one risked being burned by the squirting oil that would leap at your face. To make them bearable to eat (when pressured by a Marist Brother holding a strap), Joeys boys would drown them in tomato sauce, pepper, Tabasco or any condiment to dull the taste of the raw z grade mince meat covered in bark hardened, flavorless breadcrumb husk.

Oh by the way which school, will you be writing about in terms of a Rugby commentary. I look forward to such a commentary if and when it occurs.

Hello QH, spledid effort, I am wondering will New be at full strength. After the Trinity Game, I was most impressed with their backline and the style of play they are displaying.

Gossip and news from Hunters Hil.

My son tells me from experience that the Joeys lads have been in a "mini" camp this past week preparing. The full 1st and 2nd camp I believe will be held in Term 2 holidays at Kingscliff as it was in 2018. Meanwhile during the holiday break the College has been running almost daily strength and conditioning for all interested players. Turn up has been larger than expected as some senior A coaches I am reliably told are placing a premium on selecting players with superior fitness and the speed this season. This has given some hope to some lads (previously overlooked due to lack of skill) to be included in a senior team. The S&C coach, Kevin O'Kane has been working most days on programs designed to improve core and leg strength, rather than the upper body which most schools seem to go with. Speed work has been done as well with some help from a guest coach called "Craig". Would this be Craig Bucknell?

Mmmm Joker...perhaps Joeys is - perhaps - a tad cautious about the Anglican challenge this Saturday? Are they beefing the lads up on Horse balls in anticipation? Cant predict what those dirty Anglos might get up to.....
