He was pretty hard when he played for Eastwood! Does that count?

Absolutely.
MOM in their winning Shute Shield Final in 2002 - the same year that he earned the SMH Club Rugby Player of the Year.
Helped Eastwood go back-to-back in 2002.
Runner-up for Ken Catchpole Medal (NSW Club Rugby Player of the Year) in 2005 when playing with Manly.

he was most definitely a former Wallaby and a former Force hardman.

And when he was interviewed after the Grand Final he dropped the f word on national television. Legend.

what's the deal with Henry Taefu? Has he been cut? Possibly moved back to Brisbane I hear

Likewise Jonah Placid, is he still playing?

Jonah has been training with the squad all year and looks like he has fully recovered from his knee recon.

I understand that he's playing club rugby but as yet haven't made any of his games.

That would be disappointing but somewhat understandable. He keeps getting overlooked for other 'bigger' names, despite generally outperforming them when finally given the opportunity. I'd also somewhat expect that he'll sign up for the Moana Pasifika team next year given his heritage, being capped for Samoa and not getting sufficient opportunities at the Force.

However it would be very surprising if he has left mid season for Brisbane, and I couldn't see why the Force would cut him mid season.

The reality is that, for a wide range of reasons, most squads turn-over 25% - 30% of their players each year.
About half of the WF squad were only contracted for 2021.

Sorry if it has been brought up before but is there a reason AJ Alatimu wasn't re-signed? He was playing club rugby a few weeks ago back in Brisbane and looked very sharp. And now I see he's going off to the MLR, where he was named in the team of the week straight off the bat (whether this is a major accomplishment or not is up for debate). Only turned 28 this year.

Surely he was a better prospect than McIntyre.

McIntyre is younger, Australian eligible and played more professional football.

Younger by 11 months, already proved he wasn’t super rugby standard and the Force weren’t exactly signing players based on their Australian eligibility in 2021.

Anyway just found it strange and he had come through the Force setup in NRC and Super Rugby and they seemed to let him go for an inferior option.

The lads off for the 3-game TT tour of NZ.

Richard Kahui, Kane Koteka, Bo Abra, Ryan McCauley, Henry Taefu, Angus Wagner, Toni Pulu and Ollie Callan.

The learning curve for developing players such as Abra and Callan must be impressive as they have been traveling with the playing squad right through SRAu and now through SRTT. Bo can play both sides of the scum. Ollie has been an integral part of team preparation with the energy ( aka 'agro') he brings at the breakdown.

The three amigos - Tomas Cubelli, Domingo Miotti and Santiago Medrano.

Hope they can bring their "A" game to shake up the Kiwis.
