I will watch Isaac Henry with interest.

Would also prefer Jock @ 15 for sure.

Having said that I fully expect us to bounce back and get back in the winners circle. We've traditionally done pretty well v the moo loos.

we haven't beaten them since Link was coach

Is Jock injured? He was great playing at 15 in the early part of the season. Hegarty has had a few runs now, seemed like he was being relied on to implement and/or defend some kind of kicking strategy which has been poor tactical choice in both TT games so far. Campbell showed alot more in terms of his ability to return the ball with pace, threaten and put away his wingers.
Yeh said in rugby au report jock got a groin strain

^ scrum, lineout & maul aren't too flash but they're exceptional at setting up & winning midfield rucks. So if I'm Brad Thorn I'm saying kick long & put it out; don't get isolated & turned over or pinged; and ffs don't give DMac any space & time. Easier said than done but IF Reds can play a territory game & put them under scoreboard pressure there's no reason they can't get a W. Gotta say, though, that based on their last two performances I'm not sure Reds are capable of doing that.

Really looking forward to the 6-7-8 battle, it's gonna be a beauty!

I actually reckon their scrum is bloody good, they seem to have locks and props working well, agree with rest, lineout is ok, Vaa'i is a bloody good young lock carries and does his core roles ok. I pleased to see Tupea back on bench in him and Nankivell Xhiefs got a good couple of young 12s.
be a bloody good battle I think!

We need Henry to get more involved this game and to link up with JOC (James O'Connor). We need to hold back on the kicking game.

Wob's assessment (above) was different. Kick but make it out and long. Hard not to agree, though RR. We could hold possession more than we have and the mid field kicks have not been effective.

Congratulations to Henry! Well deserved. I hope he plays well (and kicks us to victory)
Henry’s definitely a sharp shooter, would imagine JOC (James O'Connor) will keep the goal kicking duties though.

Not bad having JOC (James O'Connor), Hegarty and Henry as options .

Weird hey. I think he has been great at 15 and has shown this year he has the best kick in the squad. Puzzling. I don't think Hegarty has him in any area except as a distributor when slotting into 10.

Edit: just saw he has a groin strain. Points stand.

Everyone has been quiet about 2022 contract holdings and movements. If anything, signing a quality fullback wouldn’t go astray, well at least until Grealy gets a few more games under his belt in Prems. All the same I have been a bit underwhelmed by him so far this year.

I’m not backing us in the Chief’s line out, so unless we’re kicking to keep possession, then forget it.

Off to the boondocks straight after work but will hopefully be back in civilisation for this one. I'm hearing that Angus T isn't 100% & may be a late scratching.
