Marika Koroibete has joined Tom English in equal 2nd on Rebels try scorers list with 22 tries and equal 9th with Tom on points scorers list with 110 points.

Well done Marika.

Make that outright 2nd on try scorers list and outright 9th on point scorers list.

Smith knows he's knocked that on. No Bonus Point so now they need Loss Bleus and/ or 'canes and/ or CruSadists to drop a game.

I think Kellaway has to start. He's had some crucial reads and sets up more than Anderson. I liked Anderson in Au but I think he's been found out at this level. Ili had some nice touches too but not up to it either. Would love Hodge or DHP back. Enjoying To'omua and Gordon together but To'omua isn't really demanding Wallabies inclusion on his own.
Forward pack is doing its best.... Can't really change much there. Pone back would be nice and Naisarani had a fairly ineffective game. His main skill is line bending and when that's contained he doesn't offer much else. Never really a threat at the ruck.

Much better in attack and defence. A few bounces on our favour and a few less in theirs and you may even see a different result, even with that petulant brain fart from Ulese, but fortune is there for those that make and take the chances.

Great to see the ball in front of our players and attacking with momentum rather than flat feet. Credit to Powel and Gorden there. Agree that Powel needs to think about the option he picks.

Ili offers very little in attack but after the turnstile that our midfield was last week I was glad so see him close that part down.

Really happy to see Koro get genuine winger opportunities and show what he is capable of. Quite enjoyed that overall.

Id stick Hodge straight on your right wing.

Managed to cough the ball up three times and miss 5 of his 10 tackles though. Still needs work.

Eh most of his missed tackles were kick chases or otherwise put enough pressure on the player to contain him.

Tits for hands is sometimes a problem he has though.

Crowd all stayed to end to see whether highlanders get the bonus point - glad to see they didn’t. Enjoyable afternoon at leichardt

Classy interview form Nugget there I thought, saying they had to only fly across tasman where as the Rebels boys can't go home tomoorow.
Still love the respect the teams have for each other!!

Dan54 my wife said after the interview "I like him. What a nice guy!"

so once again i'm a jinx, turned on to see Uelese carded and the Highlanders run in three very soft tries and turned off again, so we score twice ! The main reason ive stopped watching in real time (not that it helped much in the lats 10 weeks or so)

Yeh at the game and rebels seemed to really mentally switch of with the yellow card - like holy crap we have to face them with only 14 men...as lot of soft tries including the one when they had possession at back of a maul near their try line and just needed to exit but no allowed the landers to get possession - criminal...

Other thing I noted was landers early speed over the ball which rebels failed to offer same speed (and awareness / alertness) and lost a few possessions but this did improve in fairness.

Other thing I came away from game with in seeing up close is I can’t see To’omua anywhere near the wallabies as just offers nothing special from what I saw.
