And Joe Cotton. Would’ve been a handy addition to the Reds of the Tahs didn’t want him.

So Meehan doesn't return

Mogg doubles up a fullback spot at the Brumbies whilst 3 other Super Rugby teams have lost their fullbacks....

Now Tapuai signs for the Sharks..

Not how I imagined it going!

Hmm, I am not. Short season here unless you are Wallaby.

Still lots of questions about SRAU (10 rounds then finials), TT is still not set, so what's on offer its a quick stint in a "compact" (short with 5 teams) SRAU competion which suits the emerging talent trying to make an impression to get a better offer or the elderly on a return home and transition to retirement opportunity or get home to see family in between gigs.

What else is on offer? Club rugby.

England / Europe offers up at last 20 rounds of games so the pay cheque is certainly going to be better and you are doing what you love the majority time - playing!

Yep plenty of Aussies celebrating a good win with that Giltini's side.

I wonder whether the MLR will now look for other teams to replicate that team model (ie half the team totally stacked with overseas talent), or try and clamp down on it to create a more event playing field.

I didn't watch all the Giltini games but kept up with scores and I think they lost 1 game all year and convincingly won the rest, and went without all their stars plying together for several games as well.

Looks like the MLR is where Japan was 4 years ago, a tidy place to got top up your superannuation for 30+ former Internationals. QC (Quade Cooper) might be there soon
