Wallabies 2021

The Wallabies should take Carter Gordon to New Zealand. If JOC (James O'Connor) is injured it’s probably worthwhile getting this promising footballer in the wallabies setup.
You might get your wish, Reg reporting on Twitter that a VERY interesting face has been included in the squad.

I didn’t say it was Carter.

It’s a player I’ve seen no one talk about as a wallaby squad member.

Are they announcing the squad today?

A new face yeah... Assuming a current Aus super player who's not been in any Wallabies discussions before. That's tough.

Well Christy Doran is hinting Will Skelton, which doesn't make any sense. Re-signed for La Rochelle for four years, Top 14 starts soon plus 2 weeks quarantine.

Through the process of elimination I reckon it has to be a 10 or a 15 or someone who can play both. I'm going with Harrison.

Paia’aua is a weird selection

By the sounds of it he has benefited by already being in Queensland. It doesn't really explain it though, unless he was already training with them and they've just decided to take him as cover since he's become familiar with the systems.

Paia-aua already in Queensland so could be in part a selection of convenience, but very interesting to see. Appears to be still signed for Toulon next season, but if he's being called into the squad you'd have to think there are conversations happening with super rugby sides.

Paia’aua definitely an interesting selection, makes me thinks there’s ongoing injury concerns with JOC (James O'Connor) and maybe To'omua
