Not a fan of the corporate pre-taped repeats of the Welcome to Country. Much better when you have unpredictable ol' Uncle Festus wander out there with a "yeah, gidday, you blokes are welcome to drink the water from between old man Boofer's creek all the way up to the Dandenong scrubline. If you borrow Aunty Jezebel's billabong be sure to give it a good rinse though as she does get a bit tetchy over these things hahaha righto".

Let’s talk about the Boks for a second,

They obviously trawled these threads after the last game, as they moved to a more expansive game early on which many of us thought would expose the Wallabies, but it didn’t really work. Then they went back to their old game plan but managed to be shitter at it than last week? Go figure.

Obviously the Wobs countered well and were immense at times, but geez it looked a much lower energy Boks team than what I’m used to lately.
Is it just me who thought they were starting to pull it together at about 50-60 mins, before a mass substitution?

So weird how often they shit the bed away from home.

Yeah they looked completely stuck between the two styles and as such, rogered them both up.

LOL maybe wouldve been better off whipping out a Total 100% Kick & Hope & Fuck All Rugby gameplan.

Malcom Marx usually gives me night terrors. The guy looks and plays like he genuinely wants to end your life.

He took the field tonight, gave away a penalty, dropped the ball (maybe twice) and made some poor decisions at the back of a few mauls. Suddenly I’m not so scared.

Yeah was thinking he really didnt look up to it. Also never noticed how weirdly frail his forearms are. So odd.

Some bok careers couldve died out there tonight. Old Man Vermeulen looked like a bit of a lost relic at times. Willie le Roux plays like such an utter twerp, surely to be supplanted by Willemse.

Really noticeable how Quade is going low and hard in defence and sticking his tackles.

And finding grass with his kicks.

Really enjoying watching his redemption - both for him personally and also for the impact it has had on the test team.

Kerevi has also added to his game. Better in defence and much more respectful with the ball in attack, but still as powerful and dynamic as ever.

Good performance and a fantastic result. I thought the starting 15 all played well - Swinton will have detractors but he's effective in his role and Ikitau finally got some pay for his consistency.

Hodge is wearing thin and cannot start at 15 against a top class side (ideally any team) - the guy can tackle and kick for touch but he has been atrocious in general play for a few years now - let's look for JOC (James O'Connor), Kellaway and potentially Petaia against the Argies.

I missed the rest of the match after Tupou threw his no-look pass as i was busy having a heart attack.

Best part of that win is we improved week on week and there is still plenty more improvement to be made.

That was a heart attack worth avoiding. Tupou came off at 78min. Then the last 2 mins of the game was taken away by the video ref plugging a dirty Bok. You saw the best of it for sure.
