Credit to the Brumbies for going to their gameplan in the second half, they went closer to any other Aussie team to making it to a Super Rugby grandy via Eden Park, very cool.

I think their goals for 2023 definitely need to be around attacking structures though. The Blues were just so much better to watch in attack (mostly in the first half) and deserved to win.

Losing a few key blokes in Banks and Simone will hurt ACT next year. The rolling maul is a broken structure and world rugby will eventually make tweaks, they need to come up with variation in attack.

Brumbies play smarter in the last two minutes they could have pulled it off…. field goal option though was very poor. Roll it up and a possible penalty would have been the smarter option. It wasn’t as though the bell had sounded … Lolesio will rue that decision…

Poor old O'Qweef really bottled it towards the end, those Brumbie mauls, just allowing a free-for-all of players to join up from in front of the ball carrier.

Blues played well. For about 15 minutes. Fairly good handling allround in the pissing rain.

Salute to Tomikin for a fun thread, your lads are all ticker. In all seriousness, especially the manbunned barista on the wing.

It's strange that NZ are capable of producing g such a prodigious amount of rugby talent but not one. Not. One. Capable referee.

Do you fluffybunnys just play without refs most of the time?
End of the day lots of things come into the results - reality is close contest that could have gone either way. Bummed Brumbies lost but equally accept sometimes got to look at things they can control (ie ref they can’t)..and the poor last 20 minutes of first half and the missed conversion etc difference between what could be win or loss..

It's been a hoot to have fun with it... I had a sail into sunset meme to make this morning featuring all teams... But alas the missus had other plans then me spending hours in paint making meme's (bitch)

Good luck blowing up the deathstar and hope you got your undies signed by Monsieur White..

Still can't cop that droppie attempt. Stupid Super Rugby. Stupid.
Love your passion derpus as you are even more irrational than me with a loss…

Ps with Brumbies making the semi finals made an exception to watch all kiwi semi final 26 minute highlights on Stan. But yeh won’t watch all kiwi final as until they make this a less closed borders competition as soon as oz teams out I lose interest. Thanks brumbies for keeping my interest in super rugby longer this season.

Anyone who wants a laugh should have a read of rugby forums, on this one a few Aussie posters are getting into how O'Keefe cost the Brumbies the game, (well DP going crook from Blues view) on SilverFern the Blues supporters wanting to crucify O'Keefe for helping the Brumbies (ie their maul try included Brumbies joining in front of ball carrier etc). It's almost as if we all see what we want to see!
I will add I thought there some mistakes made (in my opinion)no more than normal, and ARs didn't seem to call much, but bugger me I actually thought the game was decided by the players!
