Probably. Hopefully with a bit more intent and urgency in the forward pack in both game. Should be bleeding green and gold by FT if they are serious.
Crucial mistake cost or put unforced pressure on field position (not withstanding the resulting puzzling scrum interpretation which was impossible to defend).
1. Ripley basic knock on - gave Arg field position that led to first penalty try
2. Annan kick out on full after scrum pass from outside 22 - led to second penalty try
3. Numerous kicks that went out on full
4. Inaccurate line-out throw
Fix the basic stuff and they will be competing against NZ.

The game plan was to kick for territory based on the strength of the opposition forwards, wet weather and the speed in the outside back. Territory was gained but not capitalised. God forbid the final score if they played a 50/50 ball in hand game in these conditions. The set piece was a disaster and if they achieve a 25% success rate the final score would have put them in front by a a couple of tries. The scrutiny the backs are receiving here needs to be directed at the poor performance of the set piece. A shit load of improvement needed here.

Can only comment on the Force lads;
Siosifa Amone is a big strong prop and you could see the difference he made when he came on in the first game.
Connor Seve, is also a baulking lad and very tall, the kind of build we need for future locks.
I think George Poolman has being playing Shute Shield but I saw him in a couple of friendlies at the start of the year for the Force and looks to have good potential.
Luke Callan brother to Ollie Callan who plays for The Force, had a decent first up game at lock.
Not sure why the VC starts from the Bench?

yeah, I was the opposite on Wilson. Heard big wraps and didn't see anything that matched it. His pass was pretty average when I saw it.

Also thought they were great across the board, with a dominant scrum and slightly better weather they were able to really tear through them in the open. Hard to compare much from this game to the last though, Fiji looked a step or two behind.
