The Kolisi headbutt against Scotland in 2018 wasn’t carded at all. Subsequently went to the judiciary and received a caution only with no suspension. Reasons - moderate force only and mitigating circumstances/provocation (he was being illegally held in a ruck)

I think that’s the dive by Sanchez (ie v Argentina), you are referring to - I dont think it was at a RWC but it would have been around that time, and I can’t remember if he was given a red during the match for it.

Itll be very interesting to see whether vunivalu geta the nod at 23. I wont hate it if that what rennie decides. Its a bit of a risk. Ideally you'd secure a series win and then give him a run in game 3, but sometimes fortune favours the brave. The benefit of have JOC (James O'Connor) on the bench is you have a very experienced test player who can cover 11 to 15 at a pinch. That does allow you to roll the dice a bit with the other replacement.

Hooper was suspended for one match in the RWC '15 against Wales after an incident against England. He definitely didn't get red carded against England so it was a citing commissioner action that saw him have a hearing and get suspended.

Well this is a big opportunity for Vunivalu. He's a former NRL superstar, he isn't a teenager so if Tuqiri and Folau could do it with little time in the game, he should do it as he has a loooong time training in Reds. So take your chance with both hands.
The Pommies are going to target both, and both have good air skills. So I hope they can show their value and lock a spot for the next WC. With Tom Banks leaving the country, this is the best oportunnity for them. It's not the ideal scenario but it is what it is
