Why does Rennie prefer Kellaway at 15 and Petaia at 14? Should we also?
Today, probably, to do well in the RWC? but I think Petaia is a much better 15 than he is a 14 and that Kellaway can do his work very well from 14

Petaia is a long term Fullback for the Wallabies. Unfortunate injury for Banks but if Petaia has a decent game at Fullback it will give him plenty of time in the position leading into the next world cup. I'm sure Thorn would find a way to not play him there.

Let's hope Petaia doesnt get injured again. Those darn Hammies and infamous Syndesmosis.....

I still love Petaia at 13. I think it's his best position and he could easily be the best 13 in the country and possibly even eventually the world. I feel his career is going to be similar to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in terms of his playing position. In that, he's covering positions we have a lack of depth rather then focusing on his best position.

Wright is a good choice to play as the second fullback in the back 3. Hope he has matured a little. This team could tear the Poms apart with a lot of ball. Very hard to stop up the middle and out wide.

Wright could go either way in having a blinder or making an error that loses us the game. It looks to me like our back-3 are the weak-link so I really hope the guys step up, absorb the pressure, and have there catching mits on. I feel this may be where the game is won or lost.

Extremely low error rate. Kellaway never seems to make a bad move, or least always seems to take the best option available.

I've rarely seen him transfer pressure and his handling rate must be close to 100%.

Petaia is a talent, no doubt, but he's still got to grind down a few rough edges.

TBH I think Muirhead would be a better option. Wright is too much rocks, not enough diamonds.

And if Swain got his head done in by a tiny bit of niggle, how big a target do you think Eddie has painted on Wright?

Wright was solid at fullback for the Brums, so my guess is his ability to act as a second FB is preferred over Muirhead who's height and size alone could be a bit of a liability at test level, especially under high balls.

I think you need the 2 x Fullback back three against England.

As will Paisami's want to make those big defensive plays

I think Paisami running from outside in to snap Smith or Farrell is a superb idea, but his over-eagerness might be an issue on occasion.

If England are as ponderous in the backs as they were last week, it'll be easy pickings early on.

Reg posted the squidge analysis in the game thread, the Poms weren't weren't far off cutting is up at times

... and I always thought it was "can't run without LEGS" - thanks for clearing this up for me. When the young fella starts club rugby I know I can shout the correct saying from the sidelines without embarrassing myself
Don't let it take away from slandering the 13 year old ref though.
