nup, he doesn't own a place either - I still think Leota has performed the best.

We are still hunting for a unit to balance out Valetini, McReight/Hooper and own the other backrow spot

Who's next 7 off the ranks? Will anyone get added to the squad? Going off Australia 'A', it'd be Antsee.
Then overseas you have Gill and McMahon.
Domestically you'd imagine Wright? Maybe Hardwick/Wilkin.

Also beyond Skelton and maybe McMahon, I don't think we'll add anyone from OS even if we have room. Rona could be a useful emergency addition if we need a centre quickly in France next year (but so would Simone).

I think Skelton would be the only overseas player in consideration for the EOYT...

All of our best overseas players are otherwise now in Japan and won't be selected, which does bode well for Skelton if we're able to give him some decent minutes to see if he's up to it.

Edit: Actually, maybe Simone if we lose another centre before the tour.

Jordy Reid, Colby Fainga'a or Nick Champion de Crespigny are flanker options overseas. I think Gleeson will go on the EOYT.
Reimer is a local option, he's probably the purest fetcher we have atm which could be handy up north.

Shame Dempsey wants to play for Scotland, he's in career-best form and would be a great option on the EOYT.

Surely it's McReight?

Was great for Aus A and in the Test against the Argies. I would be sounding out the level of interest Gamble has for playing for Australia as he so far has dominated some Super Rugby games he's been in.

Honestly, I don't see anyone other than Quade (Injured), Kerevi (Injured), Marika, Arnold and Skelton offering more than the guys we have on Aus soil. I think we reward them and select from within Aus.

Wasn't Colby added to the squad last year as well?

I think Wilkin was hard done by not to be included in Aussie A squad, had a really solid season.

Jordy has played well in the Premiership, has been talked about as a darkie for the Poms this season to.

Yes as in after McReight, his cab is well and truly off the rank. I mean who gets added to the squad if Hooper isn't there, we're currently a player down.

I'm going to get shouted out for this but I can remember AAA being a handy option at LH as well as TH a couple of years ago. Why not 1.Slipper 3.Tupou 17. Ala'alatoa 18. Faamasuli? AAA can be the replacement captain and Pone could have a well earned debut.

Surely it would be Wilkin. Bloke was easily the most consistent forward for the Rebels barring Philip.
