I think Gibbon is doing his best, but I just don't see him being a legit Test Match Front Rower. I know injuries are a plenty but neither is Tom Robertson. He debuted for the Wallabies 6 years ago and we seem to still be waiting. (Scored a cracker by keeping those pistons going)

The Wallabies seem like an unintelligent team without the physical presence to overcome that. Without the try in the last minute and Italy missing some pretty easy penalty shots we could have lost 40+/22

Now we play Ireland who are 2/2 with Ben O'Keeffe who doesn't miss a misconduct call.

Ben O'Keefe, F**K, I know we would probably lose anyway but I was at least hoping for an entertaining game. O'Keefe the rugby killer.

Stayed away from the forums yesterday after my initial morning onslaught, so apologies if this has been discussed in the 10 pages since I last jumped on (wowzers).

I'd love to hear Rennie justify why he put Donaldson onto the field with 5mins to go. Moreso I'd love to hear him justify it if he ever gives Noah another shot in gold. Clearly wasn't confident in the bloke who'd played 75mins to close out a game?

I didn't agree with Foley coming off for Hodge with 9mins to go against France, but I could see some merit in case we needed a 55m penalty to win the game. But putting on the 0 cap rookie with 5mins to go is pretty shite from Rennie.

I don't particularly want Swain near the RWC squad. He could've been yellow carded again yesterday. Just not worth it when we have adequate locks. Preferably we open up selections, go Arnold, Skelton, Frost + Philip/Rodda/Salakai-Loto/Neville, who ever is playing well. Just not worth Swain.

So I've been thinking, where is JOC (James O'Connor) at?
I think he's currently injured but he might come back into contention for 10 next year. At least as back-up to Quade if he is fit.

Ive decided this very morning to, first invent, then hop in my time machine and correct the obvious errors in this atrocious timeline.

First - rugby never goes professional and my old man never gets me hooked. It fades off into obscurity.

Second - i rescue the Bears from financial disaster.

Third - i quickly swing round and save Harambe

JOC (James O'Connor) is past it. His cameos this year have been dire. Stick to Foley & Quade with one of the young ones.

Sign Isaac Lucas for 2024, bring him into the squad.

Maybe I’m desperately looking for positives, but I thought Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) (Nawaqanitawase) looked really sharp on debut.

I thought he was great. Although I would not use the word 'sharp' to describe his performance. He made a few errors, mainly around ball security, pushed offloads, dropped balls etc.

I would describe his performance as threatening. I thought he looked dangerous every time he had the ball, and was great into contact. I will take him over Wright any day.

Lucas would be a great signing for us.

I'd hate to see him in a Red and White striped jersey eventually.

I've heard his injury was quite severe, required two surgeries. I'm not sure he'll be back on deck with enough time to prove himself. Have heard mumblings that he might also pull up stumps on his career.

As others have mentioned I'm not sure throwing another 33yr+ player into the mix is the right decision for the Wallabies long term anyway.

This playing group isn't going to suddenly become better - we will need our best team on deck for the final tour games to at least salvage some reputation. But it'll be interesting what choices are made for the RWC.

At least we're not the most embarrassing thing this weekend, Rassie takes that award. I don't think there are any refs that are welcome in SA. Berry, Barnes, Williams, Brace are all banned apparently lol

I reckon Quade, Foley, Hodge and probably Donaldson around the squad. Then build a new regime post RWC

That shoulder on the kick chase was bad, he was very bloody lucky not to have it looked at. Certainly doesn't look like he's learned much from his two stints on the sideline this year.

Nick White is doing the sycophantic act with the coach to maintain his position as first choice halfback.
There's a world cup year coming up & he's not getting any younger.
Otherwise known as 'crawling'.
His easily number one.. so he doesn't need to crawl.. not like Tate or Gordon enhanced there chances... I have a feeling if White played against Italy we would have won..

Yeh but compare his dire performances to Noah's last match and its like for like. Is Noah going to be dropped instantly too?

I just don't know what hurts me more: Foley's errors or Noah doing nothing at all.
