Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Petaia feels like the most sure thing from the reds to be playing at the World Cup.

wether it’s wing, outside centre, fullback or utility back. 80 minute game he has looked like the alpha dog from both these teams. What a talent the reds and wallabies have.

It's funny how the games changed this year. Zero care about player safety. That tackle was ok but there have been so many shouders and headbuts in cleanouts that have been injuring players and no one cares.

Wasn't a bad game, wasn't one sided by any means. Thought the Reds almost deserved a bonus point.

He was an absolute gun a few years ago. Went a record number of games without missing.
Still is, I feel like they are trying to somehow keep JOC (James O'Connor) on ice. I doubt Henry would have done any kicking during the week but he did get better with the other kicks. He also went to 10 when JOC (James O'Connor) went off, so maybe it was premeditated, I have no idea.
I think when it comes down to it, 3 things hurt us in no particular order:
1. Field position
2. Errors
3. Speed of the game when we had attacking opportunities. We were literally penalised for not being fast enough
Make Rugby Fast Again! (I’ll get some bright read MRFA hats made up)
Side note: Vunivalu… wtf mate?

Too many half chances we stuffed up against a quality team to even considering being in a position to win it.

What was with Damon not understanding the Crusaders were taking a step to the left every scrum time? If we're getting home team Refs why couldn't we get Berry!

Without seeing the state, that had be one of Wilsons best games?

I think Thorn has to make a call on Vunivalu, he just doesn't seem to get it on defence and unless there is a big gap in front of him on attack seems to make no impact. Looks like Tarzan ..... I felt on the Aus A tour to Japan last year it was the same. How long does it take a player to adapt? I am sure that the coaches would have been working with him to understand his positioning and need to respond in a game but it just doesn't seem to be sinking in.

Main issue is that he can't run. Hard to tell about his positioning etc when he's jogging everywhere, including into contact.

Must be hard for the bloke given his injury problems. Isn't a winger right now though. And it would be criminal if he makes a Wallabies squad over some of the fringe wingers really putting their hand up like Nawaqanitawase, Muirhead or Toole.

Agreed, it would be stupid if he made a Wallabies squad, has had enough time to deliver on 'potential'. Despite playing for the Brumbies I like Muirhead, seems to have great skills and understands the game.
