My logic is same reason as we started Petaia in 2019.
the one good thing cheika got my respect on was backing the prodigy… back Jorgensen on his raw skills and freak ability (you can’t teach that type of speed)
behind Kerevi, Petaia was probably our best performer in Japan. he was 18 years old in 2019

That’s because they targeted a weakness. Jorgenson already looks better under the high ball than they do.

I think Carter Gordon is up there with the best defensive 10's we've had in a long time. A good all round 10 as well. Love to see him behind an equal or dominant pack. I hope he gets a run in the Wallabies.

Being number 2 in world rankings and lose against ABs who scored only one try against you at Eden Park sounds quite good if you compare with the present

Couple of knock ons early but since then his game with ball in hand has been incredible.
Must be playing for the Wallabies by any means necessary.

Based on what we are seeing in Super Rugby not sure it matters. Maybe the whole Brumbies team would do as well as a selection.

Don't think it's to do with the number of tests but the accurate kicks and tackle timing that may wear Jorgenson down over the match.
Great young player but won't be the fullback at RWC. Not sure who it will be but I don't trust Tom Wright. He looks great against our average Super Rugby teams but under pressure, his brain goes walkabout.

Could see him as a winger candidate though in the Cheslin Kolbe mould? Genuine X factor and speed. Has surprised me how quickly he has adapted from schoolboy footy. Probably too early for this year but the Lions tour definitely… just keep learning young Jorgo.

It's a relative easy pathway to the semifinals. You avoid Ireland, France, South Africa and New Zealand until semifinal.
In the pool stage you are gonna face a beaten Welsh team, Fiji, Georgia and Portugal, you MUST win the pool.
In quarters you can face England, Argentina or Japan. A full strenght Wallabies side can beat any of them. After that you have 2 games to lift the Webb Ellis trophy.
In terms of World Rugby rankings you only could face one team above you: England. Luck is on your side cause you are seventh in the ranking and this is one of the weakest Welsh sides I can remember.
With the Wallabies you never know. The 2015 team should reach semifinal easily. The 2019 team could lose against Wales and be defeated by England like in 2019
Depth in key positions is the main issue and the short time that Eddie has before the tournament. A full strenght Wallabies squad with Bell, Slipper, Tupou, Kerevi, Valetini, Hooper, QC (Quade Cooper), White, Koroibete, Ikitau all fit, have a good chance but that would be something extraordinary. If the WC is tomorrow, without QC (Quade Cooper), Bell, Tupou and Kerevi, you are screwed.

We need a fullback who is big enough to take the hits and tackle well also smart enough to hit the line at the right time and atm we don't have one.
I have an odd suggestion that I won't be worried if knocked down but if Quade is 10 with Noah backup what about Carter Gordon at FB?
BTW I am still hoping for Gordon to be the backup for Quade.
