Anyone is welcome. In fact some of the best posts come from students.
It is just when students come here to slag off and speak s%#t that derails the conversation about about the rugby.
This normally happens about now as the season starts. There are some though who contribute well and remained.
Naming and shaming players is a massive no-no as is "playing the man" in a debate.
Stay on the game and not the G&G member.
God knows how many times I have seen this over my time here but some of the best contributors are in school right now.
We respect who they are as they respect us boomers and Gen X's.

Technically in 2011 Riverview won 1XV 2ndXV and the 3rdXV(undefeated) but because the 3rd comp started again after 2011 in 2012 so they didn’t get a triple crown they only got a double.

I was able to confirm the 1987 3rd XV result with TKS. (nice people in archives)
If so, the SIC would still get the double (which is already recorded) and an UNOFFICIAL Triple crown which is noted for history's sake.
Remember, a GOLDEN triple crown is when ALL teams are undefeated. No draws are permitted,
The last OFFICIAL one was 2019 when Joeys 1st, 2nd and 3rd XV's were undefeated in their competitions.

My youngest is friends with young Bill. He tells me that they call him "the pie eater". My youngest Toby is a small little halfback (about half the size of Bill), but he plays with heart in the 13Bs. I hope Bill and Toby will walk out in a Shore 1st XV jersey in the next couple of years.

Do you have recorded how many times a golden triple crown has been recorded without a loss in pre-season as well?

God no. It took 2 years just to collate all of these results. A lot of schools don’t keep accurate records. Pre-season would be interesting. I think I can check 2019 as Joeys have great season records.

I'll save you the time with at least the Barker results as I remember that.
Joeys definitely won across the 1sts - 3rds.
This was the infamous year of the Barker front row injury crisis. The entire 1sts and 2nds front row throughout their games got injured and disgracefully lead to non-contested scrums in a 1stXV game. Nonetheless ended in a very close, very good game.

It can be a bit academic as trials are often played "out of grade". In 2019, the Joeys 1st XV lost the trial to Knox. The 2nd XV did not lose a single game in trials or comp. The 3rd XV lost a trial against St Aloysius 1st XV, who then went on to play quite well in the CAS 1st XV comp that year. Joeys 3rds also beat Barker 2nds in a trial before going through the 3rd XV comp undefeated.
