But off that list has to be Horan: The one thing Kurtley Beale does very very well is runs across the field sideways while in possession.

Who on earth calls that as a good thing in professional rugby.

He's been pretty good on the GBRA podcast - offers some genuine insight which doesn't always come across on Stan, as it might not be his role in that setup.

Horan exists on another planet. I'm convinced it's what made him such a good player. He was thinking and doing things others just had no idea about.

I've come around on Morgs in commentary albeit he is a people pleaser. In regards to coaching he's a mess. I know people who were in those teams and they liked him as a person but laugh talking about his coaching.

Hoiles I don't know. I feel like I don't want to like him but he does say what he sees which I appreciate. The LA Giltinis thing is weird. They got some $ to be the puppets of an ego maniac. He is coaching Randwick to a very good season so far. Could win the Shute Shield in his first year.

Horan I very rarely agree with but who am I to disagree really? I don't find him as offensive to the ears as I found Marto, Kearney and now Harrison.

I think there is definitely some truth to the fact he didn't require an extremely analytical mind as a player though. Watching his highlights are always a delight. You so rarely see a player sprint a straightening line onto the ball like he did, all game every game. His gait and centre of gravity would probably still make him elite even in today's super sized era.

Love the addition of Morgs, Merthens when the fox rugby gang moved over to Stan. . I don’t mind hearing Justin Harrison as a panelist but he’s really tough to listen to commentating a game.

I would take Kearns in full ocean of salty tears mode over Harrison. He's terrible.

It’s actually the flow of the game and Justin Harrison being a bit of drongo slow talker… I do like his takes on panelist situation but when you got another slower delivery commentator in Sean Mahoney and Harrison is there giving his colour commentary… still making a point of something that happened like 3 or 4 phases ago. It can be like watching a movie where the voice dubbing is out of sync

Wouldn’t mind seeing the dynamic of Clarke and Harrison as Clarke keeps up with the pace of the game better then Mahoney (IMO)

Sonny Bill Williams has sparked a heated debate online after sharing a video rejecting claims of Hamas atrocities, arguing that babies were never beheaded and disputing that hostages have been treated “worse than animals”.
In a video shared to X on Thursday, the boxer and former rugby star, who converted to Islam in 2009, listed a series of horrific claims that have emerged since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, labelling them all to be “untrue”.

“40 beheaded babies, proven to be untrue. Babies intentionally burnt in their cribs alive, proven to be untrue,” he began the video.

It is unclear if or how the sports star backed up his claims.

I wonder if this will impact his future for CH9 and Stan?

I know that arguments seem to go back and forth about what is actually happening in this war but it is a bold step to actually take a side when you are prominent in the media in a role that does not require you to take a side.

There should be in a sane world, but we have seen activism for women where a group of Nazis showed up and everyone was labelled either a Nazi or a supporter of Nazis.
