Rugby Championship 2025: South Africa v Australia

Harry Wilson's leadership has grown so much. He kept that team together after the 2nd Test heartbreak against the Lions and kept them together down 22-0 against the best team in the World, hope his injury isn't too bad. Things like this can happen when you just don't let go of the rope when things get tough, and it feels like we are a mentally tough team now. Really cleaver attack to get on the outside of the Boks rush defense, our outside backs are as good as anyone's in the World when given the time

O'Connor started poorly but his experience really showed throughout the game. Thrilled to say he proved me wrong today

Schmidt saying Wilson's knee looks promising...I agree tom thumb.
He is a funny player Wilson, if he had an extra heft he would be a worldie. But such a toiler, high skill and clearly galvanising the group.

That Ladies and Gents, would be as good a test as I have seen the Wallabies play for a long time. They looked shellshocked at first, but just got themselves into the game, and as a neutral, I thought they were completely dominant in second half. Wallaby supporters should be rightfully really excited right now, they look bloody good.

Incredible wallabies performance. Should be very proud of themselves. One of the great Wallabies wins in South Africa.

Bell, White, McReight, Jorgensen all unbelievable. JAS and Wright with big moments. How good.
Some of Jorgensen's 1 on 1 d in space sensational too and he continues to make the freakish look easy in attack, probably MOTM for me. Ikitau also massive in defence which was crucial in keeping us in the game.

Unbelievable comeback. Boks made a lot of errors and looked frustrated that we hung in there. Reckon they'll be going right back to basics next week, be a long week of high balls at training for us.

Huge win!

McReight absolutely massive out there, 2 steals in the first 20 when we were up against it and kept going for the full 80. Excellent performances from Jorgo, Hooper, Wilson, Frost, and McDermott too.

O'Connor far from perfect but really worked himself into the game. I love the way he plays in traffic, using his agility, strength and balance to suck the defenders in and still get the ball away.
