Pakeho has been named at both 12 and 13 for the Reds this year, though more often at 13. He was also regularly at 12 for Brother's last year, including in the final. I believe he's actually spent more time there than at 13 in general, I'm pretty sure it's his preferred position.

Which is a shame, would love to see Dre pick up Hunter's spot. Flook has a higher ceiling than Hunter so that Dre and Flook partnership would look rather tasty imo.

Yeah I’m fairly sure he played inside Goldsbrough at school. Hopefully they can link up together soon.

Most of Dre’s games for the Reds, early on, were 12. Remember he debuted against Wales with Ryan at 13.

I think about half of the reds games this year he was 12. I think they lost Flook and Daugunu so he was picked at 13 as cover.

actually Henry has also played a handful (small handful probably) of games at 13 for wests too.

I like this team! Probably the biggest surprise is Robinson starting. But then he's probably the only 7 in squad if I remember correctly. Hough should move to the tahs imo.

Kohan Herbert? Hough is a 7 who has added the versatility to play 2 recently.

Prop Kingsley Uys and pacy winger Nick Conway both scored tries in Hamilton last October when the Aussie U18s upset NZ Schools 38-31 for the first time since 2019.

Equally, lock Will Ross dominated up front in that international.

Joining that trio in this year’s Australian U18s are flyhalf Finn Mackay, prop Jonah Rangiwai, hooker Isaac Rauluni, prop Levi Slater, centre Taione Taka, utility back Treyvon Pritchard, and prop Tito Hamala.

Unfortunately, a shoulder injury sustained during the GPS First XV competition ruled out lock Bennett Armistead.
