Good win for Otago over the Taniwha 29-10. By geez that young ylan Pledger is looking more and more like a young Aaron Smith all the time, he gets feet into good position early and sweeps the ball up and pass is sweet. I can understand why Hastie has decided Force is place to head off to, he would be 3rd 9 at Clan next year, at best, I would take Lennox ahead of him too.

That's awesome. Regions love their sport and hopefully bodes well for the WC sales.

Rugby should take a Test every year outside the traditional homes. Townsville, Newcastle, Adelaide would be my main 3 and if Tassie ever gets the Stadium done throw them in as well. A Test that tours and gets people excited for the event.

It would. Recent Tests though have had pretty crappy turn outs though haven’t they? I get they won’t fixture one of the big draws but joints like Newcastle and Townsville out do them for numbers and I’m sure the states chip in for it. ACT gov I don’t think gives a shit about doing that.

Perfect weather in Townsville today. Nowhere near as bad as playing in the heat and humidity in Fiji. Town is turned out for it. Sense of excitement everywhere. Went to the Cowboys Leagues Club last night and there's lots of green and gold balloons and "go wallabies" signs. Good stuff !
