It was a great turn out.
My highlights were:
Gooch and Tall Boy thinking that the private party was the Rebel Army. Still don't understand how that waitress wasn't suffering from hypothermia. She wasn't much at all.
Sage's flick pass that went 3 metre's above my head. It would have been beautiful.
When ACT Crusader made a run and quickly leaving me behind and despite my calls of "You're on your own" he still thought I would be running along beside him and sent the pass to no one.
RugbyFuture's appearance. When he showed we asserted our dominance.
The constant question of "Who are you?" <name given> "No. I mean on the forum."

Thanks to the Rebel's Army for starting it and showing up. A lot of fun was had.

A truly grand occasion in the history of rugby.

Just like the Rebels, we were welcomed to the big-time with a thud, accompanied by thinly-veiled mocking. I've never felt so professional.

But seriously, was great to meet all of you, and was a good hit-out. Hopefully you guys (or some of you at least) can put the free shirts to good use and hang out down that end more often.

Speaking of which, I'm very disappointed the Army didn't have the foresight to pull the Mighty Ducks-esque 'change clothes at half time' thing. Clearly works.

Mate, I don't know what you mean. For a bunch of guys who don't know much about rugby, I think you played quite well.

Haha nah I'm just kidding, but we got some fun out of drawing some parallels.

It'd help if we knew the rules of touch, poor Morne running up and down the in-goal because he was the only one who knew he couldn't score haha

Can all that played, please send me a message with any highlights you want included in a write up. Also some form of description, and "that fat bloke in a white shirt" doesn't help me... AT ALL. (when you rocked up, did you score? did you set someone up? did you fall on your ass and lose your pants?) Also if you have photos could I get a copy somehow to upload to Rebel-Army.com and here :)

Cheers Guys - was a great arvo :)

I was the fat bloke in the white shirt.

For our side:
- I scored one or two, can't remember
- I think rugbysmartarse got one in the left corner (borderline forward pass from me)
- barbarian scored at least one and rewarded us with a Cooperesque celebration
- #1Tah scored the last

Was it rsa or matty k that grabbed the intercept and almost* scored a length of the field try?

* Almost = about 70 metres short

I scored a try in the first half by hanging out like a lock on the blindside wing. Tallboy took plenty of photos on my camera, I'll endeavour to have them up somewhere in the next day or two.
