predictions for this weekend then ?

TSS v BSHS - BSHS will account for TSS who traditionally go missing when they front up to BSHS and thats when they have a great side.
NC V GT - NC over a struggling GT
BBC v BGS - BGS will come away with the points to go 3 and zip after knocking off what most people thought were an unbeatable Ippy
IGS v TGS - IGS......just

But not impossible

You're entitled to present your opinion but triple posting and stating, let's face it, some pretty ridiculous claims are most likely just going to annoy other schoolboys and start a flame. Make your opinion based on facts and you'll earn yourself an audience

Personally, might be a shock but ill say NC to just beat GT by 3, we still have some way to go untill we can compete against the strongest teams but give us another 2 weeks and we'll be set for a couple upsets later on in the season. Watch out Grammar we're coming for you grrrr

I'm not sure where all this confidence is coming from as you have nothing so far to back it up, but a good Spring hill cup game wouldn't be a bad thing.

Agree entirely - GT's best chance of a win will be in bye weekend against Downlands but there is little reason for confidence though. Downlands beat TGS who trashed GT - form suggests another loss for GT

Great to see such optimism coming from their supporters - the worst thing that could happen is for the supporters to give it away.

Got to Ballymore - great atmoshere. Congrats to GT supporters. The rub of the green aganist GT especially refereeing & a blantant foot in touch in front of a touch judge did not help. BBC the better on the night. GT don't seem to be able to get over the advantage line & the outside backs not used. One GT supporter said the wingers haven't got any clean ball in 3 matches - a case of sticky fingers in the centers. On last night BGS will beat BBC & are definitely contenders with Churchie. Injuries will be the key - the side with depth may win. Churchie has depth in spades.

I also made my way out to ballymore on sat night and the atmosphere was electric. Hatman has hit the nail on the head with this analysis, seemed like only crookes (lock) and ayala (no. eight) for terrace could get over the advantage line consistently, i think they combined for a linebreak during the first half which lead to a try from an ensuing scrum. For BBC, Banks (QLD u16 2010) had a solid game which included a try and some pinpoint kicks in general play along with no 8 Jaffe who was just everywhere around the park.

GPS site says BSHS beat NC 41-21??????? is that right?

According to the GPS Association:
"The Results Sheet as provided by the host school and signed off by school staff was uploaded to the GPS website and on receiving your email (and a few others!!) we have had to verify with both schools what the correct score should have been. The school provided the wrong score and this has now been amended".

What a great day at Ballymore Saturday. Congrats to both BBC and GT for reinforcing all that is good about GPS Rugby!

I wish BBC well in the games to come. You earned the win and you are not too far short of IGS and TGS (evens). To GT, a courageous performance but this week you face one of the titans in Nudgee. David and Goliath beckons!

TSS play downlands don't they, just like all other teams during their bye?

I understand Churchie only sending out their seconds this week to play Downlands 1sts.
Best Downlands 1st XV in many years, but a bye's a chance to rest so who can blame them.
