Havent saw much of him. Look OK the bits he had from the bench. He comes from the Matie , WP youth teams and Vodacom(played with Sadie, Koster last year, Cronje played 15 for WP Vodas) and look like he and Juan de Jongh spend some time together as a combo earlier. Look like the nippy type of 10.

Would have love to see Sadie plays more with him. Sadie understand space, pass more and is quick, Juan the better ball carrier and stronger defender. They should probably swop their 12 & 13 jerseys. Still think AC got it wrong and should have played Mossie from the bench. We need to cotton wool the two Bokke for the tests.

Young Sam has developed his game quite a lot since last year. He has real authority around the field and likes to carry the ball.
In the lineout he is poetry in motion. I'm much more a devotee of scrums than lineouts but I could watch him jump all day. He has wonderful elevation and can make bad throws look good.

speaking of lineouts, Bruce, do you have any involvement in the new machine in the Arena gym which was a complete mystery to me until a mate told me today that he'd asked and was told it was a lineout lifting machine?
it's hard to describe for others and I couldn't find any pics on the net either, but it looks unlike any piece of gym equipment I've seen.

It's quite acceptable if you do. I don't get concerned unless I make the same mistake the 3rd or 4th time, but by that time I have probably forgotten the 1st two so I'm sweet.
I just have to remember that Paddy O'Brien is not a Tahs THP and Fitzpatrick was a hooker for NZ and not now for the Tahs.
