Ah fuck it! I blame everyone on here saying that there was no need for Phipps on the bench as he never gets used & Genia never gets injured. You lot put the mockers on him!!! :(
Speedy recovery Will, hope you're back for the start of the Super season.

Well it was sort of true, he got injured with 10 mins to go didn't he? ;)

What is going on over there? So many injuries that I wonder if there is something going wrong with the preparation. All countries have injuries but it seems an epidemic at the moment.

Fuck. If Sharpe goes down i really don't know who will step up to the captaincy. Moore isn't strongly favoured to start, Robbinson didn't exactly do well with the Tahs gig and is lucky to still be starting, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is a senoir player and is at least likey to start every week. Anyone else?

Lucas next in line?

This will adversely affect the Reds 2013 season much like Quade's injury this year. It's a long road back to full health and then form from here.

Yes and no, hopefully he shouldn't be out for as long. I don't think Genia puts the same sort of strain on that part of is body as Quade does. Was cringing last night watching him start those jinking steps waiting for it to go again.

6 months makes it early March return. End of March maybe for a return, so he may miss up to a third of the season. Cooper missed about two thirds and wasn't really fit and game ready until the last few.

It's an absolute bloody curse this year. We could field a pretty damn good team with the blokes who have spent most of the year injured. Maybe we should also consider not having a captain. Every time someone gets the job, season over.

I've been critical of Will lately but I thought he looked the best he has for quite a while during the second half. Devastated for him to get an injury such as this. I wish him a speedy complication free recovery.

After watching the way Argentina hassled Aaron Smith, I suspect we are going to be significantly hampered in this area. I mean Phipps and Sheehan are nowhere near International class.

Is White and Lucas pretty much not available anymore?
