Oh I'm sure there are a few, but most would love to see NSW go down so that we can never say we won a title.

not me. if the tahs are no.1 on the log in the final week ill be spurring them on to beat the Reds. I'm a die hard reds fan but having the tahs win the title would do wonders for australian rugby. NSW is the biggest market in Australia, we saw what the Reds' 2011 win did for rugby here in Queensland. It virtually guaranteed several years of good profits and increased crow number. It also has a nice flow on effect to the wallabies.
However I'd like to see a close game (Reds 40 - Tahs 41)

Genia said it all in his Reds TV interval. They are hoping to build some very much needed momentum towards next year. Meaning they will be doing their damned best to win that game and bugger the consequences for NSW. Something we learnt from Matt Giteau I believe. Not a Queenslander I believe.

This has to be the Tahs year to win the title. they need at least 13 points from the last 3 games to finish on top (i.e. 3 wins and at least 1 bonus point). Lose one of their final 3 games and its unlikely they will win the title.

I will refrain from getting too excited, especially before the June internationals. If we lose Palu, or TPN, or Hooper then it would be a big blow to our title hopes.
Our lack of injuries has been crucial this year, it is worlds away from a few years ago when we had 10 or so people on the sideline at any one time.

Palu - I think we can cover but we're nowhere near as effective.
TPN - at least Latu is due back shortly, though he needs to work on his fitness
Hooper - yeah that's a real problem. Nothing against Cutch or Hoiles, but they ain't Hoops. He's not doing a lot of fetching individually but most opensides aren't either - his link work is so important.
Thing is the balance is just so good at the moment with the forwards we have starting and in reserve. Upsetting that is problematic, but at least Fat Cat, JacPot, Cap'n Awesome and Douglas aren't affected.

Unless the core Tahs squad is hit by horrendous injuries v France, the chances of the Reds beating you in July are about 1 in 100.
The Chiefs win confirmed it: the Tahs are superbly coached, not only by an excellent HC in Cheika, but just as much by a wisely chosen team of specialist coaches that have brought huge new capability to the team.
To those that inexplicably keep raving about what wonderful players the Tahs have as though this explains almost everything in 2014's outcomes, just compare the Tahs of 2011-12 with this year's model; it's simply night and day. Almost unrecognisable, in the positive.
At the Reds were have a HC that has proven absolutely nothing except consistency in erratic failures, and further has surrounded himself with specialist assistants whose principal qualifications upon appointment seemed to be 'coming home to QLD rugby, plus we all worked together at the Force'.

I'll guess, if it comes off, there'll be a few. I personally find it one thing to be stoked your team wins, but another to "crow" about it, which to me means rubbing somebody's nose in it. It's a pity that some will always seem to want to do the latter.

The Reds in 2011 proved that multiple injuries late in the season can be coped with if the coaching and team fundamentals are already proven and sound - do you recall that things had gotten so bad in our backs resources (through injury) we had Caleb Ralph playing away in NZ for us, but we still got there in the end.

I've had a look, it's certainly possible. If the Tahs beat Brumbies, Brumbies beat Force and Force beat the Blues and Reds, it is possible that both the Burmbies and Force make it in the final 6, unlikely tho.
