The Melbourne papers have largely shunted rugby to the depths of the sports section.

Context is important though - Socceroos kick off tomorrow, and Essendon's drug farce is coming to a head.

Laurie Weeks and Luke Jones were the focus of The Age and the Hun, which is good to see.

Well to be honest I doubt we'll see Cowan, Jones, Charles and Weeks all come on if the game is in the balance with 10 to go. But all of those guys have been in good form this season so we should have SOME faith, maybe not a lot.

It's definitely possible we could get dominated in the forwards this weekend, but even if we do, I expect we'll score enough points to win.

Think more of a sake of us getting dominated (possibly) at scrum time. Our physicality in game 1 from Fardy, slipper, tpn and hooper saw us dominate the ruck area which I can see us replicating this week with the addition of McCallman and if some form of Kev's former self can resurrect.

The Lineout was good also. Wallabies by 15

Line out will likely improve marginally on defence with Horwill there. He gives a better second threat on their ball. Hopefully he can meet the standard Carter set around the ground.

1. BarneySF, never underestimate the Austrians!

2. BPC, our daughter (a mad rugby fan) lives in BC, Canada. I have long held the view that if Australians come from Australia, it's logical that Canadians must come from Canadia!

3. Matt, thanks for bringing back the cute French fan in her 'LBB', (lucky blue bra)! [Not so lucky on this occasion, but good viewing nevertheless]!!

4. Gel, you should refer to GAGR rules, and learn how to 'walk away' from arguments after stating your case. I've had disagreements with some members on different topics, but then we've shared common ground on other issues further down the track. It's called "swings and roudabouts"!

I expect Barnes to be rather intolerant of any crap going on at scrum time and the Wobs to be without a front rower for at least 10 minutes

Should be good listening into Link in the coaches box tonight
What is the go with this? It's the first I've heard of it (but I have had my head down the last week or so). Is there some sort of option to listen in just at the ground or on tv as well?

Though I dread to think what listening to Deans on the coach mike would have been like ;).
