Owens should not even be in the frame for RWC 2015 let alone being talked of for the final.
He has lost all of his judgment and has become a parody of himself.

Question about the order of things, early in the 1st half France had a knock on advantage, they committed a penalty, but Nigel went back to the scrum advantage to the French. Do things change on the severity of the penalty?..

Conceding the penalty meant they didn't get the advantage that the ref was playing so he pulled the play back. It's just the same as if they'd knocked on, kicked too far or got dumped into touch before advantage was called over.

Like many refereeing decisions, it seems like a case of who the f*** knows

Yeah so if you have a scrum advantage and give away a penalty, you get the scrum unless its foul play (my knowledge).

So if i have a scrum advantage then come in from the side, I still get the scrum. If I have a scrum advantage and then, i don't know, punch someone, its a penalty to them.

I ask it in reference to what just happened with Australia.

We had a knock on advantage, McMahon tip tackles, we lose advantage they get penalty. Bit different to what happened earlier?

Also does Shag have some truth about the TV producers affecting things? Ref asks to see entry from 5 into the ruck, we get highlights of a different player.Whereas with McMahon they replayed it 5 times.

Jesus even Nigel picks up on it.

The tip tackle is foul play so you lose the advantage similar to how a penalty can be reversed if someone commits foul play.
