For confidence to be maintained in the qru judiciary the questions over Perese must be answered formally and openly .players ,coaches and clubs are confused. Was the referee's initial decision deemed incorrect or did the judiciary believe missing part of 1 game was enough.

Crickets from Tigers supporters on this matter?

The only thing I can think of is that on their team sheet abother player has been named at 13, when Perese was wearing that number on the day. The Referee would have written his report as per the number worn not by name.

Did Perese definitely play the following week? Or was he in the programme but not actually take the field?

Nope - it WAS Perese who was marched off.

He definitely played GPS - watched it personally. He's also on the team sheet as a try scorer.
Wow - well, I've got nothing then.

I guess it's possible he managed to squeeze into the judiciary hearing on the Monday night after the game (assuming there was one) but you'd think the Norths boys would've been given the same opportunity and it doesn't sound like they were.

I think what Paty might be saying is that Perese was on the team sheet as playing 12 (for example) and another player is on the team sheet at 13. When the referee said he sent off number 13 for punching, it didn't register in the QRU systems as Perese? It's no excuse, but it's the only other non-conspiracy explanation I can imagine. All other scenarios and permutations are concerning/dodgy as f**k.

The player in question was red carded against Norths for punching and fronted the judiciary on the Monday night. After reviewing the tape the Judiciary found that he did not throw a punch and the red card was reversed and he was allowed to play last Saturday.

There will always be conspiracy theories around when the coach of the QLD U20's is involved with the club in question however he fronted the judiciary as required and was found not guilty, no dramas from our end with him playing.

Thanks for clarifying - Paty did the Norths boys front the same judiciary? I know you said provisional suspension, but I thought you might have heard some further info?

Billy Sheehan (19)
If memory serves me correctly once red carded the club has until Monday to say whether they will except a mandatory one week ban or fight the charge.

If you fight the charge the go to the judiciary that Monday night.

If they except the one week ban they can then still be called into the judiciary the following Monday depending on what the tribunal decide

They have to front up this coming monday to face the judiciary.

The Wests Premier Colts have been in some great form.

Knocked off Sunnybank last week, took care of Bond today.

I can't remember the last time the Bulldogs Premier Colts have won 2 on the trot, next week it's the Eagles!

Where has the sudden surge in talent come from SX? Its a pretty impressive feat to go from essentially the weakest Colts program in the comp (not trying to be offensive there) to being able to knock off two heavyweights.

Wilkin for Easts,Nucifora for Bond & Jones for Uni are the only Colts I can think of.I believe Wilkin is injured & I imagine that the other two will play this weekend after little game time in Italy.
GPS vs Sunnybank could decide 2nd spot on the ladder while the other interesting game is Easts vs Brothers. If Easts get a bonus point win they will effectively end Brothers ambitions of finals.
Rumour is Wests will forfeit Premier Colts & Colts 1.This would be very disappointing

Believe the Wests rumour is correct.
Have 4 boys suspended after Monday's judiciary following an unsavoury incident against GPS Prem Colts the other week, 3 more injured and 2 who have left for interstate after last weeks game.
Only 2/3 starting forwards currently available for Prem Colts

Correct, according to RugbyLink the forfeits by Wests in both Premier Colts and Colts 1 have already been processed. How did they go from beating some heavy hitters to forfeiting a top level game of rugby? Really disapointting.

Monster can you shed any light on the incident against GPS? It must have been brutal if 4 players have been suspended from the team.
