    CAS Rugby 2015

Barker started slow this year but have really improved and were rewarded with some boys in CAS. I think it'll be close but will go to their way over Cranbrook (who have injured players?) Barker by 10 Apparently players are returning for Knox which only makes them more formidable. I don't think...

Aloysius beat Knox twice in 2012, slim pickings since then. I think before then was 2009 in Tom Kingston's Aloys team who came 3rd

    CAS Rugby 2015

If pre season speculations and first round results are anything to go by, this round is shaping up to be the battles for 1st, 3rd and 5th, three good and close games on the cards. Cranbrook v Barker - Barker went toe to toe with Knox then fell off the pace in the second half, Cranbrook, on the...

    CAS Rugby 2015

I'm keen to see this season even more underway (it should be a cracker) but at this stage we can only offer educated speculations. Affiliations aside, all we really have to work with is the pre-season results which would have the table looking something like this 1. Knox 2. Waverley 3/4. Aloys...

well you don't see that everyday, dare I say a good season on the cards for the boys in willougby?

Aloysius will have 13 players returning with 1st XV experience, including NSW candidates Dainton and Slaven who played 16s last year and were blooded in the final round (making a handy centres combination together). Surely to be a big threat in 2015.

He did not, but the hole he left did allow Pete Slaven from the 16s to play at 13, scoring a try.

Eric Stene, Aloys No.2, is another 16 year old in year 11. He played CAS 16s this year

Last round of the year coming up, the rivalry round as it's also known. How heavily will the points difference be examined in the event of a shared premiership? I think it would be extremely cruel and bitter to swipe the title from Cranbrook if they lose to Aloysius and have the same win/loss...

    CAS Rugby 2014

I thought I'd offer my two cents on the 'best team' debate. In my subjective opinion Knox is the best side in the comp. I believe if Knox and Cranbrook played each other an odd number of times Knox would take the majority. Of course, there is no greater objective unit of measurement than number...

    CAS Rugby 2014

Intriguing round coming up, should be classic just like the corresponding fixtures in round 1. Knox's season is technically still alive, how far will the revivals of Waverley and Aloysius go and how badly do Trinity want to win? Knox v Cranbrook I tipped Knox in round 1 and I'll do it again...

    CAS Rugby 2014

Hux we've got another great week, hopefully come out with at least 5/6 in tipping over this week and last because there's one game that's going to be very tough to call. I'm talking about Barker v Waverley, it should just be one of those games. Barker plays a structured game heavily dictated by...

    CAS Rugby 2014

Good weekend coming up, plenty of upset opportunities. Cranbrook might be a bit shaken after Scots and have niggles in key players but are still undefeated in CAS, they've got the means across the park to get over a Waverley outfit that did beat Knox, albeit a month ago. Cranbrook by 25. Aloys...
