They have turned up the last couple of years to test Prem players during training on a weeknight and also after games on a Saturday. They generally have a list of players who they want to test. None from my experience have been contracted players, just Prem players.

Finally Norths have done something right. Pat is a great appointment and will help Ox with some much needed experience. Really disappointing season just gone considering where they were at in 2018. I wonder if Pat will bring any of his former Bulldog players along with him?

UQ struggled a little on Saturday, the Rats seemed a lot bigger and more physical. Only 3 or 4 players from last year looked to be playing with a lot of colts having a crack. Any other results from Saturday? How did the Compass Cup end up?

Has anyone got any news on how the clubs have gone in the off season recruiting players? By the looks of it Souths have been the big winner from the Sunnybank exodus. Would be great to see a list of gains and losses for 2019.

I agree totally Bulldog, massive undertaking going back to back and throw in the early return of the Reds players due to the RWC it could be a really interesting second half of the season. Early wins will be very important and I think the cohesion we will have from last year and the fact that we...

I agree Triplets, It's been a really productive couple of months down at Yoku. The sessions have been awesome with good numbers and it's been great to see Fogs back down in the Blue and Green, he has been missed. I know the playing group have been really impressed with him and Garbs and just...

Excellent day and night down at Yoku yesterday. Great to see so many happy faces and a few tears of joy. We didn't run out of beer like back in 1996 but we gave it a good shake. Awesome to see Freenes, Gormo and Kingy finally win it after so long. Magical night. Mad Monday is also going along...

Going to be a great week down at Yuko. I know the boys are really keen to make amends for last year with a few of them getting ready to hang up the boots after very long and distinguished careers in the blue and green. Mitch King was unstoppable yesterday as was Tuttle. If they play like that...

What's everyone's tips for this weekends games? Finals have come early with the top four all playing each other one week before the actual finals kick off. Souths v UQ - UQ by 12 - Will be a very exciting game with a lot of free flowing footy and probably a few points being scored from both...

How is GPS v UQ not the Match of the Round this weekend? 1 v 2 would be a far better spectacle than 6 v 8. Doesn't make sense. Has Sunnybank had a Fox game yet?

It would be a challenge always playing a team who are well rested, not training with game soreness (in the second week) and having two weeks to prepare for the match each round. I think last year's draw was a lot fairer and I'm not really sure why they would run this model this season. Finals...
