    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

Gareth Anscombe has been improving season over season and now looks International quality. Wasn't sure he was going to get there initially but now deserves his shot. If Patchell had not been injured I think he might have got the nod going into this AI series.

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

From a Welsh perspective, it is a strong team fielded for us but still giving a few a chance to stake their first team place. This has meant we have a strong bench though with the likes of Liam Williams, Rob Evans, Biggar etc usual starters. Gats is building toward RWC and has been for the past...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Didn't realise you Ozzies were so down on Pooper! Though it had been working well on past seasons. Wales lineout is stronger with Charteris in there. Tipuric is also an option at the back. Could be a risk for Oz but in all fairness, Wales have never been known as a masterful lineout team as it...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

They are pushing a more attacking game plan but they are going to stick with the old guard to implement it is where the problem lies. We don't need many changes, just a couple of tweaks to help the new game plan along. There are 4 enforced changes in the pack and a couple of these bring more...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

I think this is Australia's game for the taking. I usually (and wrongly) have a bit of confidence that a win is a possibility but I don't see Wales staying in the game for the final 1/4. We are always slow starters when any set of internationals start and have lost to many key players for this...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

You win some and win some more when it comes to Wales. No matter how close or which side gets the upper hand the result only goes one way.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Well done Oz. You know how to close the game out when the chances are there. Excellent defence from both teams. Big difference was lack of ability of Wales to convert their chances which were more numerous than Oz. Big turning point was lack of leadership for Wales after Mummy went off...

RWC: NZ v TONGA (Newcastle): POOL C

Never seen NZ look so ordinary as they have done during this tournament. Could easily have had a penalty try against them in that first half with scrum and maul pens. Rest of the teams who might face them really aren't going to have as much fear as normal.

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

I see. It's formality for Oz this weekend then. Staff's are our easiest shot at a win anyway so don't mind this side of the draw except the Kiwis would be straight after which is a whole different level of competition.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I think Gatland has picked the team that can do the most offensive damage. It's not a case of defend and hold on in there and hope to pinch it in the end. It is hard to contain the Aussie backs and backrow especially now they have set piece sorted. Bold move to take the game to Oz and hope it...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

It's a risky selection but atleast Gats is going for it. Like the changes in the pack and gald to see Charteris and Lee starting. North to centre is a risk due to defence but we didn't have a good answer thre really as Tyler Morgan is a rookie (although did okay against Fiji). Anscombe is a...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Wales will be playing with as full strength a team they can find to put out. Can't see Goathland not going for a win no matter how big the odds are. Hopefully the wobbles are over confident and not 100% focused. Might keep us in the game until the latter stages of the game and then who knows...

    RWC Squads

There's always talk in Wales and conspiracy theories but largely they have been just bad luck injuries. Anscombe went over on his ankle and now Walker slightly pulled hamstring. Walker is often prone to injury and will probably be available later on in tournie. Rhys Webb and H/Penny were just...

    RWC Squads

We have run out of backs in Wales now so may as well just add an extra forward. They last a little longer as it is 5 backs gone since RWC camps and warm up games.

    RWC 2015

Injuries looked to be very painful for both and would be surprised if either would be available any time soon. Wales would be very lucky if 2 replacements don't have to be called in already. At the end of the day there are replacements there which are very capable but any further injuries and...
