Great experience for the Auggies lads, KWS are heading to Japan in the July school holidays, with a 45 person squad from both the boys & girls rugby programs.

The Central Western Daily article indicated they have a balanced team, with alot of yr12 students 2nd year in 1's with continued growth / development.

They are brothers, went to Kinross, the latter moving to view a year or two ago, father is a view OB.

Interesting notion, certainly has merit... still wouldn't stop top CAS schools poaching top ISA players from country schools.

It may cover coaches, strength & conditioning personnel + physio. Is it the case that some teams pay to play verse others get paid to play?

Piss-taker detected, as KWS newsletter today indicates "..unique opportunity...two weeks prep going into our first competition game against Oakhill..."

A pink card was like a merit award today, which meant no chance of missing Saturday rugby whereas, a white card was a disciplinary 2hr detention (Friday) or the dreaded Saturday detention cleaning the white picket fence on A ground, hence missing rugby!!!

Receiving a pink card from Jika on a Friday morning whilst he did his rounds to every secondary class was also a positive, two great educators from a bygone era. Thanks for sharing @Joker

KWS rugby do the same bus trip every fortnight to Sydney based schools, the joys of rugby!
