Ignatius's 3rd Junior above Shores? I would have thought Shore would win considering winning all their regattas but one (SRC Regatta) in 2024Hit me with the shocking ones. Happy to discuss.
I went to school with Negline’s Uncle. No other intel I’m afraid.@Joker are you familiar with some of the St Joseph’s boys in the boat this Saturday? I know some lads are pretty good around those parts socially. The Moloney’s had a brother (Maxim) go through a few years ago.
Very difficult to judge for minor placing (as per usual), especially for this second VIII. Hard to say Newingtons not contending if Shore is, especially after their last race (SRC regatta I believe). They beat Shore in 2nd VIII event and lead Kings 2nd VIII by a length to the 1600m only to be pipped at the line by 0.42s in the Open Mens division.Mate not much of a prediction when you have three crews listed to win.
Kings will not win the 3rd IV. Shore are too dominate and will hold this strong lead. Safe to say joeys, Newington and scots are not contenders for the 2nd VIII race. As always, happy to be proven wrong.
It's in the boys hands now.

I don't agree with your first and second junior predictions, think Scots are to low, but at the end of the day it's up to the boys now, predictions don't mean much in a sport that has so many variables. Hopefully the wind stays away and we can see some high quality and competitive racing, Willy Weather which tends to be reliable has called for light wind but who knows. Here we go: Crews are in and this is what I think.

Gee Negline is a force in the 4. Big lad, but nice technique. Pure watts would be my guess as to his role in the boat.I went to school with Negline’s Uncle. No other intel I’m afraid.

Raced in an especially strong tail - will be interesting to see how they go at SIRC against the AAGPS schools.Wow some quick times there. TSS looked to be the school to beat all year and they put in a cracking performance. Well done lads.
i think that's far too harsh on new, they've beaten shore on everything this season bar from the most recent regatta in 1 8, theyve also beaten joeys before, i reckon they're in comp for #2 or #3.Here we go: Crews are in and this is what I think.

Fair predictions, but we have to consider the fact that anything can happen on the day, and some potential results that were never considered may occur. Anyways good luck to all crews with racing and will be a good day out there tomorrow. Here we go: Crews are in and this is what I think.

Yes. Joeys are like this. While most schools focuses on the top crew, Joeys celebrate everyone. Special recognition to the Joeys Yr 8 2nd quad scull. Undefeated season. Even beat the 1st crew. Having the best erg doesn’t mean you make a great crew.Just stumbled across this video of joeys 4th IV
Intresting to see that even the lower crews make send off videos. None the less nice a cool video.

yes their was tailwind and the course is 2000 metres, just a high tail wind with a light synchronised crew really powered through. Well done to all those boys!Or tailwind?
