I think it might be a good idea to bring the thermals if you are heading out to watch the game tonight. At least it isn't wet.

I don’t think Knox was rubbing the noses. the team at the end was almost the 2nds. but I agree not a bad look

I remember times when aloys would give them a tough time. Especially at willoughby. they played a style of rugby that frustrated Knox. Like Waverley- random ad hoc style they struggled when there was no structure

Knox did replace 2/3 of their players shortly after halftime

I thought Knox 2nds actually beat St Augs - 3 tries to 1 or 2 to 1. Though the conditions were such that it was a weird game. But from what i saw, Knox were the better side by a bit.

Run down by Knox and Scots. Must be something in the haggis.

When I left at halftime 14-7 to Knox over St Aug Knox seconds up 3 tries to 1 heavy conditions limiting the entertainment factor. Knox should win, but Saints not giving up. And showing some style in the backs.

A religious or spiritual thing. Both are Church of England. As we are getting a new head of that on Saturday perhaps they are just moving with the times. I know that is an absolute rubbish piece of logic from me, but it goes with the vibe. Perhaps.

Definitely very Joeys spare. It might be one of those years and Joeys not that strong, but I would imagine the remaining Joeys XV would still give both sides a good run!

Very much a Knox thing to have injured players before the season even starts…

No news about the Barker/Knox trial today. Even if it was probably just a energetic training run

Without knowing much, which in many parts of life makes one an expert, I think it could be a close and tight competition. I think Cranbrook could be a big improver based on a youngish side last year and their 2nds. Waverley will be Waverley - dangerous and competitive- and have some of the...

Well done Morgan. You have managed to find someone less coherent to interview than Sonny Bill

Apparently there were only 15 rugby matches between Knox and Barker last weekend. Presumably injuries must have reduced the total teams. I believe Knox won 13 of the 15 games.

It can be hard to say how sides develop. For a while Knox A sides that were unbeaten in the lower ages became a little ordinary in the Firsts - though coaching and selections in the opens might have played a part there. Also some schools tend to develop players quite imaginatively in years 10...
