Great news, surely all these signings for the Force will pay dividends eventually. Crucial that we get our first choice tight five on the field next year though. Robertson Paenga Amosa Hoopert Rodda Williams starting to look good as a tight 5.

    Wallabies 2024

Open slather on overseas picks could blow up in our face badly. Anyone currently out of contract with Rebels would have to be seriously considering offers Also on subject of props, would assume Tom Robertson is Wallabies eligible this year (before any changes) as only on sabbatical and back...

    Western Force 2024

Squad shaping up nicely next year with the new signings. The key will be whether we can get our first choice tight five on the field each week unlike this year. Will be interesting if they take a gamble on Rodda for an extension or not

The negative reaction with Beale signing is overblown. It is only injury cover and they wouldn’t have paid much so don’t have a lot to lose. Lots of super rugby players have gone back to Shute shield and not stood out whereas he has looked good the last 2 games As for the culture well he...

yeah makes the whole "ballot" system a bit of a farce. Any diehard rugby fan would have snapped up or tried to snap up tickets already rather than waiting on a possible ballot and no idea if they will get option to buy tickets. The silence is deafening.

Yep Richie Arnold was up there in contention as Eddie’s worst call and that is saying something I can’t believe people are already suggesting Lynagh for the wallabies, he cannot defend and his kicks go about 10 metres, needs a lot more time

    Wallabies 2024

Tom Horton any chance of being a bolter for wallaby squad this year? None of the other hookers have really nailed a spot and he has been pretty good. Does the core skills well

I think wright and Kellaway have both been good and you could find a place for both of them in a 23. If you have a 5/3 split on the bench you could have Donaldson at 22 and Wright at 23 which gives you good coverage and impact.

    Super Rugby General Chat

4 day weekend yet they still cram all super rugby games into 2 days, why? Both AFL and NRL have games on all 4 days Would have been nice to have a game to watch tonight or even Sunday or Monday

There is as a lot from Stooke I agreed with as well as a lot I didn’t. He is correct in saying the whole board needs to be accountable but McClennan definitely needed to fall on his sword and he did state that signing Eddie was a captains pick. The whole discussion around women’s rugby and...

That’s a shame, have spoken to Ollie a few times after games and seems like a great young guy and had a great future. Hard to keep these young guys forever if they don’t get a shot, especially the ones from over East.

    Wallabies 2024

Yeah I was going to say the same thing, Donaldson would be a good option as a #22 in a 5/3 split on the bench. Could even have White as #21 as their combo has been good

    Round 5 : Force v Reds - Perth

Was never a Donaldson fan last year but now he is with us love him. The running game is one thing but I don’t remember the force ever having such a good kicker out of hand, good distance and very accurate. In comparison Lynagh had a little pop gun And what a centre combo we have, I give...

    Wallabies 2024

Surely not Lynagh, Donaldson embarrassed him tonight, Lynagh’s defence was not great but also being at the game you notice the difference in the kicking game, Donaldson was getting 10-20 metres more off the boot and more accurate

Round 4: Western Force v Moana Pasifika 15/03/2024

Coach knows better than me, Kuenzle on the wing was a great call

    Wallabies 2024

Kerevi is still only 30 (Cooper 35) so we should still be able to get a couple more good years out of him if he can avoid more injuries
  18. Mr Pilfer

    Wallabies 2024

Yes the non selection of Hooper and Cooper gets all the headlines but the Richie Arnold selection was another shocker by Eddie and then of course he was too arrogant to stop picking him. Dropping Kellaway to start the World Cup was another

    Lions Tour 2025

The games will all sell out regardless of what price they charge. As others have said this and the 2027 World Cup are rugby Australia’s only chance of keeping the game afloat and making up for years of incompetence so they need to milk it for everything they can

    Round 5 : Force v Reds - Perth

Happy with those changes, Kuenzle deserved to stay in the starting side and prefer the 5/3 split on the bench. Big fan of IFL but I do think we missed White's leadership last week so I think this is our best option. Reserve front row still a big concern. Would have liked to have seen...
