I think it all sounds pretty logical to me financially. Being Perth based I think opening game would be a good outcome and hopefully a whole pool based here. Assuming that opening game would be wallabies. We can’t expect a semi or final as too much disadvantage to travelling teams.

I think it would have been better to just have one squad of say 45-50 and play midweek games. That way more of the “B team” like Edmed, Potter, Tizzano etc could have got game time.
