    NZ Domestic Rugby Competitions 2016

What if it was with King Country? Or part of King Country?

    NZ Domestic Rugby Competitions 2016

But then again so did Counties, Manuwatu, Tasman and Hawkes Bay in 2006. Maybe if some of the Heartland teams merged it would be possible, which I know that NZRU were pushing for years. I know both NPEC and Poverty Bay have looked into it, as well as Mid-Canterbury, South Canterbury and North Otago.

    NZ Domestic Rugby Competitions 2016

A bit off topic, but does anyone think Wanganui would be able to compete in M10 Cup if given the opportunity? Considering they've made 9 out of 11 Meads Cup Finals, winning 4 of them with another to be played, they are the reason I think either single 1 up promotion or promotion relegation...

    NRC onwards and upwards

The major reason for their inclusion is that they are the only Pacific Union to sort their governance and financial issues to a professional standard. From what I've heard as well they are the only Pacific Union to have made any progress in meeting the criteria set by World Rugby last year for...

    Shute Shield 2017

For 2015, nothing would have changed too much this year. Section 2.3, includes their affiliated district club as well.

    Shute Shield 2017

If you were going off pure population, you would merge Manly and Warringah, as well as Norths and Gordon. Then put a team in each of Blacktown, the Hills, and the Liverpool-Canterbury corridor. It would be interesting to see an overlapping population vs junior base on a map or chart though...

    Growing QLD Schoolboy Rugby

How about we just make the Ballymore Cup a postseason cup for 1st XVs of sorts? Just have it like the American college football, where you have non-conference matches in Term 2, Conference matches in Term 3 and a Top 8 finals at the end at Ballymore. Play maybe 16 games, 8 or so Conference...

    NRC onwards and upwards

They're also hated by almost everyone in NZ that I know... There is absolutely no contest, and the tackled might as well get up and roll the ball beneath his legs. Plus there is so much hacking of feet at the ball it's not funny...

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

New NRC show put out by the Reds, continuing their good coverage on Social Media. One thing the QRU seem to be worlds ahead of other Unions is engagement on Facebook, Youtube, etc. If only they were that adept in the boardroom...

Its been confirmed that Logan will play Premier Reserve and Premier Colts for the 2017 season. Good to hear. Full steam ahead for their 2018 Premier Grade debut.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

All good. Like as everyone else has said most benefits aren't of monetary incentives but to make sure that players are able to continue to play rugby at a high standard in QPR by subsidising certain costs to players who commit to playing Premier Grade. I think a lot of people don't realise how...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Just watched the Tassie vs SA game. Looked like a decent game of footy, plenty of excited Tassie boys at the end. Had they ever won a game at the National champs before this?

    Rio Olympics

The formats a bit odd. Would have thought two pools of 6 with semis made more sense. Make the Olympics a harder slog than a normal sevens tournament.
