Sorry to strike a Nerve - Ouch Rumour has it the Blacks have had 35 players for 3rd Grade matches at Home this year and players are complaining they can't get a game ? I'm sure the Griffith Committee will work out the right strategies and demands on others for 2016

so were Waratahs that good or Griffith that Bad on Saturday ? Looks like the Griffith Blacks have reverted back to their old habits of "poor travellers" for their away games their defense of their 1st Grade premiership is in big trouble . Wouldn't be surprised if they 'stacked' their 3rd Grade...

I think CSU needs to be looking at its future now in the SIRU Comp Quite a few blokes playing all Grades who are moving on in years and they don't seem to be attracting the new Students like they did in their good old days. They are definitely in their right Division at the moment and should win...

OK it's a Top 5 then Thinking ahead if Albury win the Minor Premiership do they host in Week 2 of The Finals - they should get that reward I suppose the only drwback is that the Minor Premiers mightn't play inn both Week 1 & 3 of the Finals ?? if they qualify for the G/Final in Week 2 by winning

Looks like the Ag College bubble may have burst last saturday against Waratahs Didn't get to the game but the word is they played pretty poorly and Waratahs capitalised on all of their mistakes & there were plenty of them Is it a Top 4 or Top 5 this year - there seems to be a bit of confusion

Tahs just haven't got their act together this year. They are the type of Team this year that can miss out on the Premier Division by losing tomorrow and on the other hand if they qualify for the Premier Division they could give all the Teams some anxious moments. I don't know why they haven't...

My interpretation of a Premier Comp & a 1 Team comp is simple - Premier Comp will more than likely have 1s, 2s, womens & 3rds in the majority of cases. The 1 Team Comp is exactly that - 1 Team if they want to have a Womens Comp then go for it but they play amonst themselves- 3rd Grade & U/17s...

The SIRU Competition is a good Competitive Country Rugby Union Comp The trouble is the big Towns are getting bigger & stronger and the smaller Towns are shrinking and find it harder to get 2 Grades let alone 1 Grade e.g Coota & Temora - Leeton is an exception this year but have been wobbly for...

Does Griffith only have 1 Grade in mens playing tomorrow or has Albury got a 3rds ?

Just looked at Courtney Ree's Preview in the Daily Advertiser for the rest of the season in SIRU - its a pretty good Summary She reckons City & CSU are not going to make the Walsh & Blair Cup when the Comp splits in 3 more Rounds I reckon she is close to the money City did themselves no...

Don't know if Macdougall was unlucky but Dunstan is a good player & can play Prop & Hooker If they get beaten by less than 20 they (Brumbies Provincial) have done well but I see a big scoreline coming up against them unforunately. Manion wasn't as effective yesterday as he is for Albury &...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2015

This year's Comp is pretty congested in the middle of the Table - Albury, Leeton & Griffith will play Premier Division & Young, Coota & Temora will play 1st Division (Romano's Cup). Who are going to be the 3 other Clubs to make it into the Premier Division & the 2 other Clubs who will join...

Yes it's good to see the Albury local Juniors progressing thru the Rep ranks - well done to the Steamers

Looks like the wheels are falling off a bit at Waratahs - plenty of BIG Name players in their Ranks but they don't seem to be putting in on a regular basis Reserves were undefeated before last Saturday's big Loss to Ag College ?? When was the last Time Leeton were favourites to beat Waratahs ??

Well the Wagga City bubble burst pretty loudly on Saturday at Griffith From all accounts City threw in the towel after half time and Griffith were free to do as they liked - pretty disappointing really for all their supporters

Just read the Preview on the SIRU Website & agree it is a pretty strong and well balanced Team I reckon SIRU will make the Richarson Shield Final but will find Central North too strong I hope I'm wrong in my final prediction because it would be great if they won something on the Weekend

Agree with your Comments - some pretty handy players there - seems to be plenty of depth there as well Krautz is an interesting selection in the squad and I presume they have picked him as a flanker but he can play in the Centres as well How old is Rambo Lagaali ? he deserves his place in the...

The Village Comp is a good idea in theory but it probably needs a minimum of 6 Clubs for it to work in SIRU - at the moment the 1 Team Clubs in the SIRU comp as far as I can work out are Hay, Temora, Junee & Deniliquin which wouldn't work. Clubs should be looking at ways to get stronger not...
