Hmmm.. 'PlayedinHeaven' a learned commentator: methinks BBC would rather stay under the radar, and for very good reason ... stricken by injuries in 2012, there will be a few teams taken by surprise in 2013.

BBC missed Braden and Jnr heaps this year- 'the could have been' season- even without them BBC put some grey hairs on the opposition every game (ie they were 10 points ahead of BGS with 10 minutes to go). Over all the transition to the new coaching team has gone well- for a team, without the...

Hmmm ... a minor detail ... perhaps BBC being reduced to 14 players in the last 10 minutes had a little something to do with the game opening up?? FYI ... I believe BBC have led at half time in every match this season ... soon some team is going to cop a full 70 minutes from them.

Bronson Taukapoulo and Luke Peterson are also in Yr 11, along with the no. 10, Nathan Russel, are u16's all were named in 1sts and started each game so far.

1st XV- Considering, Luke Peterson (Yr 11, 16 yr old) has started the first three games of the season, with the last two @ 6, I think you'll find him back there this weekend, Ned Heathcot (Yr 12) started the season at 6 but has done a great job at 7 the last two weeks so should be back there...

BBC v Churchie An epic second half in which I was able to re-read the Lord of The Rings Trilogy, the Ref so kindly encouraged Churchie with such exhortations as "Oh, there is plenty of time left in this game" and "why don't you take this time to work out what you will do next" and "Why Yes, i...

BBC updates for Round 3: I think Breadon Hood (Captain and 7) is out sick. Ned Heathcote to go from 6 to 7, he'll cover that well. Luke Peterson from 4 to 6, no probs there, he's was QLD u15 no. 6 in 2011. Harrison Mann back to 4 or 5 after being sick last week. Junior Fakaosilea stays at 12...

A slight correction to the Round 2 scored board: BBC def BSH 46-15 after leading 18-15 at half time, romping home 6 tries to zip- Sate was lucky BBC didn't put 60+ on them.

State High beat BBC in their trial, but BBC put 6 tries to zip on State in the round 2.

@ 'BBC-Pride' - What's so 'mediocre' about BBC's hard fought 1st round loss against Nudgee and a 2nd round 6 tries to 0 steamroll of BSH? BBC's pre-season was noticeably under-done; they seem to be hitting their stride and could have easily scored 60+ on the weekend. Round 3 against a high...

BSH v BBC 1/2 time ... BBC 18 BSH 15 Full-time BBC 46 BSH 15. BBC never really had their line threatened but State stayed in the game at half-time through penalties. BSH forwards fought well at the breakdown, the packs were pretty even there. Set plays went to BBC, especially the scrum. BBC won...

Sounds right- Jr to 12, Bronson to 8, Benroy to 1.

Nudgee should strengthen as the season goes then, they have amazing depth and won't be as impacted by injury, possibly, as other teams. Actually I think BBC played with 5 or 6 Yr 11's (??) but a number of them are 17yrs (ie Jnr, Conrad), I think three are 16's (1,4 & 10), one of which (Peterson...

Fair enough call: Nudgee did make the most of fewer opportunities. True, BBC forwards did more than hold their own: kudos also needs to go to the lessor known BBC forwards, really no weaknesses there, incl. the two 16 yr olds at 1 & 4.

As per BBC/NC program. BBC NC 1. Bronson Tauakipulu- Eddie Tuifao 2. Rob Lawless - Alex Mafi 3. James Stewart - Graeme Wessels 4. Luke Peterson - Nic Fordyce 5. Harrsion Mann - Aran Speldewinde 6. Ned Heathcote - Maclean Jones 7. Breadon Hood - Henry Fitzgerald 8. Junior Fakaosilea - Jaydon...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Fair enough call. Nudgie 28 BBC 14 - both teams made incisive runs though the backs with Nudgie ahead on points there, Tuttle was impressive. The forwards were pretty even, BBC let the pressure off Nudgie a few times. Nudgie came out firing in the second half and it looked like they would pile...
