I understood Hood will miss two weeks. BBC v BGS Sat 14th.

Bronson has been res. prop for BBC & also been running as flanker sometimes. BBC also has been giving a lot of time time to another u16 @ 6, Peterson, who played 6 for QLD u15s. Should also look at Tittor from Toowomba who played @ 15 for combined catholic u18's.

I thought he game was fairly clean. Interestingly, the Ref sent off two players - one from BBC one from Terrace- not 15 from BBC! Jnr from BBC seemed to be claiming his eye had been gouged which is why he had reacted. The incident worked in Terrace's favour, beforehand BBC were well on top- Tom...

Not much in Terrace's 2pt win. A game of two halves. Considering who wasn't playing for BBC (minus Hood, Sala and Jnr's sent off ...after being eye gauged??): in a shortened first half BBC looked the stronger side to me- they looked like they would run away with it.

True ... the system is basically set up as a GPS pathway. Most rep schoolboy coaches appear to be GPS, they intern advise QRU and ARU. Because of the investment in GPS rugby programs, GPS boys are pushed ahead of non-GPS boys. Basically, for a non-GPS player to make the Gold squad...

The impression I have is that TSS have never rated Kleise, he only started this year, he will have to prove himself. However, he is a proven rep (Gold Coast, QLD Country and QLD u15) and a 110% player. Basically he has the work rate of a 4th backrower.

Sure, he's still a bit on the small side- another year and he'll be a great asset to TSS- I do think that he'll surprise them in the 16's, he has great work effort. I think the Breakers picked him as players player last year after the state champs, Peterson got 'best forward', Dempsey (QLD...

True Churr- I've seen the Nerang Bulls Pack this year: very impressive. I believe a number of them have made South Coast u18's.

FYI: Brown (TSS) and Peterson (BBC) were 4 & 8 for South Coast Schools u15 last year: hard to compare with very different positions: but as 7 & 6 respectively for u 15's QLD Country, Peterson got the QLD flanker jersey over Brown because of his stand-out performance against QLD City. Kleise...

Isaac was a stand-out for South Coast u15s last year. Tittor from QLD 15's is playing 15 for combined Catholic- holding his own in the u18's. Peterson who played 6 for Qld Country and Qld State, has trialed solidly for BBC 1st 15 at front row and 6- went to GPS u18 trials and played well but is...

IGS v BBC, I believe IGS by 7??. A bit hard to get a clear comparison because both sides mixed their teams up and, importantly, I understand IGS already had a few trials whereas this was BBC's first. IGS took a good lead early in the 1st third, looked like they might run away with the game...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2012

Yes, BBC v IGS @ Ipswich 11:30 ... the 1sts but a junior game/s before hand. BBC seems to be getting some backing from the pundits this year, will they have a shot at their first ever sole title? I don't know if Tom Barker will play his hand this early. We may have to wait for round 1 v NC to...
