    Western Force 2025

Lacking some serious go forward - particular in a popgun backline.

    Waratahs 2025

Also, its not like they are LETTING this happen. If they players dont want to go to the tahs, they can claim their full pay playing club if they want. Yes it will hurt their next contract, but that's another story. Tahs train in eastern suburbs. Where will they live, if they are young, or have...

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Some changes expected. I'm thinking Force halves starting with reds halves on bench again.

    Wallabies 2024

Wright would be the best captain. He is far and above Mcdermott as a leader at the Reds. The question is, is he the best 6?

    Queensland Reds 2025

Yeh agreed. When he left, I'm sure his contract offer got a knock with Petaia/Vunivalu & Campbell owning the back 3 and Daugunu at that time not considered a 13 option. He was no.23....thats it, and the Rebels had a good offer and a need I'm sure up their sleeve in the absence of Koroibete which...

    Wallabies 2024

I personally think you've gone out on a limb a bit with Donaldson reverting to 15. He didn't play a minute there this year (i think) and dabbled in it last year. Sticking with Wright @ 15 seems the logical conclusion. The wing partner for Kellaway is more in the air. Rumour had it Pietsch was...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

I am hoping a few said no, for now. Waiting to see who the coach is. Considering how few have formally announced as departing/having new homes - this is possible Uelese, Mafi, Canham, Gordon, Kellaway & Daugunu have confirmed homes at this stage I believe.

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Thought Leota was wanted mainly at Tahs, not Reds. Probably one of the guys waiting to see who is coach before committing. They would be desperate for a 6 after losing Hanigan AND Swinton and now potentially Holloway. I can only see them releasing Holloway IF they get both LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Leota.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

    I'm going a tad different, experience in the starting front row and finishing backs. 1. Slipper 2. Faessler 3. Ala'alatoa 4. Frost 5. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 6. Hoops 8. Valetini 7. Mcreight 9. Mcdermott 10. Lolesio 11. Lancaster 12. Paisami 13. Ikitau 14. Kellaway 15. Wright 16. Nasser 17. Hodgman 18. Tupou 19...

    Queensland Reds 2025

Think Reds were ready to lose EITHER Petaia or Campbell. If it is Campbell AND Petaia, then it leaves only Grealy as a FB option

    Waratahs 2025

There was a report another senior waratahs wanted a release, because yes he is contracted for 2025. I guessed it was Holloway, and he then wasn't asked to train on - now this. So guess I was right (annoyingly, I like him)

Yep - thanks for ruining my day. dang.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Higginbotham had a Reds/Japan combo deal. We should use them more. Short term pain, long term gain.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Just looking at those off contract this year and how they make room without changes to the squad size allowance/how the reds offer him what he would be worth when those extra players are coming in. It's less about 'letting' Wright go, and more about, what can we offer someone of his value to the...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Yes I did mean Reds > League in SE qld > Waratahs And yes he took a pay cut. Sure he will have Japan, League (if successfull) and Rugby union offers for 2027. But if he doesn't do well in league, his value in both our codes will drop

    Aussie Player Exodus

Gordon wanted Reds > League > Waratahs - but Reds couldn't/wouldn't take him so byebye. Shame.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Daly and Roiri are locks and won't be retained. I imagine Anderson won't be retained either (maybe Wright also) shifting Uru back to loose forwards. Locks: LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) Canham Smith Blyth Backrow: Wilson, Uru, Brial, Bryant, Mcreight, + hopefully Wright.

    Wallabies 2024

I still hope he goes to the Brumbies. With Tua leaving, they need a 12!

    Wallabies 2024

Was a hooker picked from Tahs or Force in that training squad? If not, who will be the 3 hookers - Faessler, Uelese andddd?
