    Wallabies 2024

Swain is going to the Force so he will likely be picked

    Wallabies 2024

I love Liam Wright, and I am not disparaging his performance, but using it as an example. Liam Wright is not an international 6 and people have been calling for his inclusion there. I have been saying he is the backup 7. Same as Uru isn't a lock. Last night was a bit of a boys v men look...

    Queensland Reds 2025

Smith, Blyth, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) & Vest + Maybe Canham. I wonder if Daly will go back to NSW.

    Western Force 2024

Well alreayd getting Swain, so focus should be on keeping Rodda. That will be a net gain. Leota would be a key pickup. Though I wouldn't hate. 4. Swain 5. Rodda 6. Williams 8. Ekuasi 7. Tizzano 19. Carter 20. Harris

    Wallabies 2024

Leaving out the leavers it seems. Swinton has been in great form and brings good starch but oky doky moving on. Holloway omission from a wider training squad surprises me, but perhaps he is the other senior player seeking to get out of his contract being disenfranchised (I read something along...

    Queensland Reds 2025

I am incorrect. Thank you! Kailea is young, promising and was a brisbane based club player at least I believe?

    Queensland Reds 2025

Ravai off contract and Faagase quite old. Eloff or Kailea for LHP please behind Hodgman. Talakai is wanted by the Reds (I assume to make sure we can hold him past 2025 when JTA (Jeffery Toomaga-Allen) is off contract) but reportedly he is keener on greener japanese pastures.

    Wallabies 2024

Skelton won't be picked for this series. No foreign based players will be. If LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is still on the recovery journey, we will need Swinton or Leota at 6 to balance out what will be a lower impact 2nd row (Rodda/Frost). Also excluding Wilson (departing) and Swinton (leaving) 4. Frost 5.Rodda 6...

    Waratahs 2024

Why Gilmore? He was good at U20 in QLD, but struggled and dropped as an assistant after given a chance. Then did good at Aus u20 but is now an assistant in a struggling squad. Surely we need to see the Waratahs attack do well before we give him MORE control.

    Waratahs 2025

Oh I see my error I saw "banking on no rebels" - as in no rebels players coming. NOT no rebels, as in rebels not existing. Absolutely yes they, and the force, would be very keen for the rebels to fold. Both need a replacement 13 for Perese/Spink - well Daugunu just got a whole lot more...

    Round 13 : Reds v Drua 18 May (Fiji)

I don't think anyone would come up with that first plan JOC (James O'Connor) to 10. easy. obvious

    Waratahs 2025

Maybe Rob Leota at this rate!

    Round 13 : Reds v Drua 18 May (Fiji)

I agree he may, but I think we will need his fleet footedness and defensive reading to cover what is a highly mobile centre/OB attack. Yes he got targeted hard and effectively in attacked, but in defence nothing much gets by him, whereas Paisami and JOC (James O'Connor) may get burned.

    Wallabies 2024

Schmidt very much expressed how he values player to player coaching, using Johnny Sexton as an example. Bringing in the young guys behind the experienced. C.Gordon expressed how much value he got from Quade in camp. Schmidt IMO is likely to start with a broad squad and will lean towards...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Harrison got bumped down to a minimum contract when he last re-signed, so gotta go make hay whilst its shining hey. Big injury scares makes it even more stark. Reality check that it could all end very quick.

    Wallabies 2024

I'm finding picking a 23 exceptionally difficult, even a 33man squad (I always do 33 as it's the WC number but I'm 99% sure itll be more'. Hoping that some of you can clear my questions up to help narrow my choices! (Day off today so too much spare time). Obviously carrying more guys makes this...
