Loving the posts Cave Dweller. For those mono-lingual people among us, your translations and insights are priceless.

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Kiwi squad announced: Pity they won't have the services of Sam Cane or TJ Perenara. It is astonishing to think that NZ won't have a single returning player from last year's title winning team.

    Heineken European Cup 2012

I couldn't understand him getting hooked from the game either.

    Argentina

The Argentina Under 20 coaches, Bernardo Urdaneta and Facundo Soler, unveiled the squad to tour South Africa as part of their preparations for the IRB Junior World Championship 2012. Forwards: Federico Aguiar (Hindú Club URBA) Tomás Bruno (Urú Curé Cordobesa) Matías Diaz (Teqüé RC Cuyo)...

    Hooper to Waratahs

It doesn't sound like there was a lot the Brumbies could do. If a decision is motivated by factors outside your control, throwing money and hoping probably isn't going to work.

    Heineken European Cup 2012

I find it really dissappointing that the English seem to look for excuses other than their own play (and the structures that lead to it). When French teams win in the Heineken Cup it's because they have more money then their English counterparts due to the salary cap. When Irish teams win...

    Brumbies 2013

It is a shame though, in the sense that we have witnessed many a time squad depth being exposed once a couple of injuries strike. I for one believe players such as Van Humphries and Wallace-Harrison not only provide much needed depth, but also keep the next generation of wallabies (in this...

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

White has been reluctant to start McCabe at 12. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Lilo/Tomane combo with McCabe on the wing. I actually like McCabe on the wing for the Brumbies. He is experienced enough that he goes looking for work and it almost forces Tomane to get more involved.

Brumbies vs Sharks Round 6 Super Rugby 2012

Missed what from all accounts was an entertaining game. How did Murphy go playing loosehead? Are people generally happy with his performance (and his place in the pecking order; ahead of Yanuyanutawa and Owens)?

    Sydney Colts 2012

Admittedly, I wasn't at the game, but this early in the season running on reserves is usually detrimental to continuity and the fragile combinations the team is trying to build. I would imagine this is magnified at colts level where there is a constant churn of players due to the age restrictions.

That may well be the case, but I thought Noakes had been named at 10.

Apologies. I meant the training camp. Got ahead of myself.

    Waratahs 2013

I'm not one of the more knowledgeable posters you have appealed to, but there are fairly big wraps on young Stirzacer currently with the Rebels. If the Rebels keep both Phipps and Kingi, he may want the number 2 spot at the Tahs (provided McKibben goes to Scotland as speculated). Especially...

    2012 S15 SA Conference

I'm not sure if this article comes across as the Stormers electing for tactically astute selections, or them focusing on (perhaps even fearing) the Bulls, perhaps to the detriment of their own game. Either way, I can't wait for the game, even if it is on at 4 am over here.

2012 S15 New Kids on the Block

Rugby365.com has an article naming the top 10 rookies of 2012. It certainly looks like SA and NZ have the better 2012 rookie vintage. Especially some of those SA forwards.
