Australia A - Back on the Cards

Currently playing for Pau. Tahs were the worst team in the comp at the time, there's no doubt he would have worn the 15 jersey for Aus at some point this year if he stayed.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

Arnold was clearly unfit in his game against the Argies, I think we will see plenty of improvements in his game when he is match fit. As good as Swain is at the lineout, I find him mostly ineffective across the park.

    Shute Shield 2022

Eastwood to beat Manly with Tane's boot. After watching wicks last week get so close to Uni, I see them beating Gordon.

    Wallabies 2023

The returns of Angus Bell (foot), Dave Porecki (concussion), Hunter Paisami (concussion), Scott Sio (shoulder), Folau Fainga’a (concussion), Andrew Kellaway (hamstring), Allan Ala’alatoa (personal reasons) and Rob Leota, who wasn’t considered for San Juan due to a skin infection. I would like...

You'd hope so. If Rennie opts to select Foley ahead of Noah, his confidence will be absolutely shot.

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

Ikitau has been a god send, good to see someone has locked down the 13 jersey for the RWC.

    Just unfit
  9. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

I don’t ever want to hear Mcreight should be selected ahead of Michael Hooper

    Waratahs 2023

This is garbage. You can't say Douglas is any better than Holloway, Sinclair or Hanigan. For his brother getting coach of the year, I think it was a pretty fair call. Newcastle were cellar dwellers last year to now winning half of their games and having a better win/ loss than Easts despite...

    Aussie Player Exodus

He would definitely be a good get. Both he and Sua'ali'i is the back line would be good. Sua'ali'i could certainly lock down FB.

I think Simone is a safety blanket for Foketi. He is a bit of an unknown quantity so need the coverage on the bench. Disappointed to see Leota gone, he bends the line pretty much every time he carries. But to be fair, I think we need to see Holloway given another start to see if he's up for it.

Then it would have to be AAA for Tupou.

    Wallabies 2023

McReight as long as he removes his dumb red/ white headgear.

    Wallabies 2023

Honestly, I don't see anyone other than Quade (Injured), Kerevi (Injured), Marika, Arnold and Skelton offering more than the guys we have on Aus soil. I think we reward them and select from within Aus.

Only change I think is White to the bench and McDermott to start. The only 3 captain options are Slipper, AAA or White. None of them play the full 80, so one of AAA or White will need to be on the bench to takeover captaincy duties.

    Wallabies 2023

Agreed. With the talent on the rise, pretty likely he heads overseas to earn more money.
  18. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

With Quade gone, do we look to bring in another international? I don't even think any are significantly better than the guys in the current 23.
  19. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

He definitely has the tools to do it, just need to fix his on/ off field discipline. He is a genuine threat over the ball and can provide some physically across the park.
  20. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

Or we take another approach and put our best possible team on the park to give our side the best possible chance to win this test match.
