  1. Rugby Head

    Wallabies 2023

With minimal opportunty within Australia to play rugby after the super rugby season, good to see some names popping up over in the Bunnings NPC. This will be great for their development. Names I have recognised so far: Connor Vest Jackson Pugh Isoa Nasilasila (Think he played for Southern...

Because he can be a monster around the park? I know he didn't do much at the end of last year, more time with the group would certainly help. Google is listing him at 140KG and Darcy Swain at 113KG, I am sure that extra 27KG would be helpful at scrum time.
  3. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

Would certainly make up for Skelton's lineout woes.
  4. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

I'm more worried about Lonergan, he has been dominated for the games he has played with the Wallabies.
  5. Rugby Head

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

    Hoping for this- 1. Slipper 2. Porecki 3. Tupou 4. Phillip 5. Arnold 6. Holloway 7. Hooper 8. Valetini 9. White 10. Cooper 11. Korobeite 12. Paisami 13. Ikitau 14. Wright 15. Petaia 16. Fainga'a 17. Robertson 18. AAA 19. Frost 20. Samu 21. McDermott 22. Lolesio 23. Vunivalu Only risk is in...

    Wallabies 2023

Agreed with Vunivalu. But for Pone, are you dropping Tongan Thor or AAAAAAA?
  7. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

Think this will be good for him. The strong emphasis on set piece should strengthen his game, that's his main weakness at the moment.
  8. Rugby Head

    Shute Shield 2022

Eastwood definitely have the cattle, just can't glue it all together.
  9. Rugby Head

    Wallabies 2023

100% top 2 targets are Burton and Sualli, both still young with a high ceiling. Next I'd be looking at big Nelson Asofa Solomona, used to play 2nd row/ No 8 in NZ rugby and was an absolute menace. He is 26 years old, 120KG and 200cm tall. Believe he has been in Aus since 2015 so would qualify...
  10. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

Latu will bring some X factor to the forwards, if he can stay card free, he is certainly an upgrade on Porecki/ Horton. I'd imagine Nadolo would be more so in a Jamie Roberts type role in mentoring the younger guys coming through. Some stints off the bench could be very handy too.
  11. Rugby Head

    Wallabies 2023

100% agree, any of the guys with 60+ tests have earned their stripes for the country, they should be able to play regardless if they are in Aus or overseas. They shouldn't be included in the 3 players.
  12. Rugby Head

    Brumbies 2023

I'd be chucking Tom Wright to 15, Mogg on the bench.
  13. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

Is there any confirmation where these players are off to?
  14. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

Although I think Lucas is good, we've got plenty of similar players coming through the ranks in Aus Rugby, Lolesio, Edmed, Donaldson, Harrison, Pasitoa etc... Harry Hockings on the other hand, Australia are seriously lacking proper 2nd rowers, we are full of hybrid players.
  15. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

I'd take Harry Hockings. Surely seeing all these 2nd rowers in the country dropping like flies would entice him for a gold jersey.
  16. Rugby Head

    Wallabies 2023

To be fair, he was coming off a calf injury and hadn't played rugby for over a month so was probably half cooked. I see him stamping his foot down against the Argies.
  17. Rugby Head

    Waratahs 2023

Read that Harrison Goddard has signed with the Tahs on a 1 year deal. Great signing, he will be a very handy backup to Gordon with Grant on the pine.
  18. Rugby Head

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Would be good if they just made it 5????
  19. Rugby Head

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

After seeing Valetini's try against the Cane's, I'd suggest him.
