Trial: Brumbies vs Chiefs @ Sunshine Coast

Good to hear positive commentary around Goodwin, very maligned player whose defensive capability is very key to the Brumbies. He ain't the player who will necessarily hold court during broken play opportunities, but there are others for that role.

    Super Round 2, 2018 - Rebels V Reds @ AAMI Park

One hand on something, that's for sure.

    Reds 2018

Only saw a bit of the live feed but Perese and CFS were both quite willing on the wings. Perese reminds me a little of Digby in his pomp.

    Super Round 2, 2018 - Rebels V Reds @ AAMI Park

Did he abandon the Rebels or was he cut loose? The result and the part he plays will be very interesting.

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

Not sure where the thread is that celebrates the success of both men’s and women’s sevens teams on the weekend, but we’ll done to both! Fantastic effort by the men to shut out the overwhelming favourites in the Blit Boks, and a clean sheet for the tournament for the women, unbelievable! Great...

    Super Rugby 2018

When looking at each of the squads, I think the starting 15 for each franchise looks decent. Final standings may well come down to squad depth but it may be a closer run thing than most are thinking. Brumbies look to have the best forward pack and Rebels the best backline, with 10 the only...

    Rebels 2018

What a cracking squad, favourites to top the OZ conference by a mile!

    Brumbies 2018

Pity about Pocock but it appears the decision has the blessing of the hierarchy. Better the short term pain and long term gain I say. Brumbies have a great culture and I'm sure that whoever steps in will not disappoint. There is bound to be another Smiler or Butler lurking although would have...

    Reds 2018

You may find that his reduced game time at Montpellier coincided with the arrival of Jake White. Guess which coach left France and ended up in Japan coaching Lucas' team? Sometimes players just don't fit into a coaches plans and it has nothing to do with ability. I recall Lucas as a very...

    Brumbies 2017

IRO the Singapore squad, would be good to see someone else at 10. maybe JJH, just to test alternatives. Have Hawera off the bench if the thinking is that he needs game time, but he has had plenty.

    Brumbies 2017

The season isn't over but I take my hat off to Larkham and crew for making another finals series. So much negativity and criticism thrown their way and the majority of 'fans' condemning them to a near bottom finish at the beginning of the season. Have a well earned rest guys, good luck to the...

Brumbies v Kings - PE, Sunday 3:30am AEST

Happy for the win and can't say I enjoyed the reffing. The disallowed try for a forward pass looked stiff, and there was an offside given against the Brumbies as the scrum was destroying the kings, just to pick on two things.

If bith Banks and Toua have good games and the Brumbies get up then yee hah!

Brumbies v Kings - PE, Sunday 3:30am AEST

A must win for the Brumbies. Good to see Alcock back in, and well done to Banks for getting this opportunity. I think the key will be the 10 and 12 and their ability to unlock and provide opportunity. Go the Brumbies!

Brumbies v Lions, 7:45pm Fri May 12 - GIO Stadium

One errant pass that resulted in a try against the run of play certainly turned the game, but teams should bounce back from those things. The greater frustration was lost line outs at crucial times when there was good field position, and the number of times the Lions managed to turn over...
