Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

I honestly think this back three is more balanced than Wright at 15 and Kellaway at 14. A bit more pace outwide and Kellaway IMO is a better fullback than he is a winger. If it goes well then potentially I think we could see either Wright or Kellaway shift to 23 moving forward, with Koroibete on...

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

I'd love to see Canham and Toole on the bench, this seems like the best game we have left this year to give them a run and see what they can do.

Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

Squad I'd like to see: 1. Angus Bell 2. Matt Faesslar 3. Taniela Tupou 4. Nick Frost 5. Lukhan Salakai-Loto 6. Rob Valetini 7. Carlo Tizzano 8. Harry Wilson (c) 9. Jake Gordon 10. Noah Lolesio 11. Marika Koroibete 12. Hamish Stewart 13. Len Ikitau 14. Corey Toole 15. Tom Wright 16. Brandon...

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

Was very happy with the improved set piece this week. Scrum was great with Bell and Nella starting and the lineout will only get better when Wright comes back in. Stewart seemed to act as a bit of a glue between Lolesio and the outside backs and the midfield seemed to operated better defensively...

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

If and when everyone is fit then our best backrow IMO would be Wright at 6, McReight at 7, Valetini at 8 and Wilson at 20. But they aren't all fit. So based off the players we have available our best backrow is Valetini at 6, Tizzano at 7 and Wilson at 8.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I like it. Put a genuine jumper at 6 and you can potentially look to disrupt the boks lineout like Ireland did considering their missing Mostert. As good as he is in open play, Snyman is not a good lineout caller and hopefully Frost and co can cause some havoc there to make up for the absolute...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

It'll be a trial by fire but with Tupou out I think we need to start Kailea with Ala'alatoa to ensure our bench front row isn't completely inexperienced coming on. This also assumes Bell isn't picked. My pack would be: 1. Kailea 2. Faesslar 3. Ala'alatoa (c) 4. Frost 5. Salakai-Loto 6. Williams...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

I like Tizzano being selected, mans got some dog about him and will tackle anything that moves. Hopefully we select either Hooper or Williams at 6 to add some size to the pack to make up for Tizzano's size, but you lose nothing on the defensive side having him there instead of McReight.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

Wouldn't surprise me if Schmidt and co use both tests against the boks to see who the number 2 openside is before McReight comes back. ie Reimer starts this game and Tizzano starts in Perth. I'm also backing Williams at 6 with Valetini at 8 and Wilson on the bench.

surely it's Lukhan right? it's been rumoured for weeks.

Loosehead - Hodgman, Gibbon, Fa'agase, Blake Tighthead - Toomaga-Allen, Nonggorr, Fa'agase, De Luttiss I think we'll be fine.

Don't forget the inevitable toe injury just as Bell starts hitting his stride

    Waratahs 2025

Tahs forward pack is actually shaping up nicely now. Assuming Holloway is gone, your pack could look like: 1. Bell 2. Porecki 3. Tupou 4. Grant 5. Amatasero 6. Leota 7. Gamble 8. Gleeson 16. Vailanu 17. Thomson-Stringer 18. Talakai? 19. Smith 20. Slack-Smith

    Wallabies 2024

Oof that's rough. All the other 4 options have their benefits but none have a game as complete as McReight. Personally I'd be backing Scott, but I can see the argument for any of the 4. Tough on Wilkin who has been consistently great the last few years when he's fit. Positive news about Wright...

    Wallabies 2024

I'd be rolling out: 4. Skelton 5. Frost 6. Williams (Wright if he is fit) 7. McReight 8. Valetini 19. Salakai-Loto 20. Wilson I think Cale's time will come but at this stage of his career he doesn't have enough bulk on him to really challenge the Boks and AB's. Even against the Welsh his lack...

    Wallabies 2024

With Wright potentially out for longer (RIP) I wonder if we could see Williams shifted to 6 for the RC. If Skelton is drafted in then you need a lineout jumper at either 6 or 8, and Cale at this stage should be kept on the bench as I think he'll struggle against the physicality of the Boks and...

    Waratahs 2025

Not sure the Tahs need more wingers, despite how good Lancaster is. He'll be competing with Pietsch, Reilly, Sua'ali'i, Kellaway and Jorgensen for a spot. Would have made more sense for him to go to the Brumbies or Force. Either way, hope he goes well. With Salakai-Loto coming to gods country...

    Waratahs 2025

Wouldn't surprise me if Blyth moves away now that he's a capped Wallaby but will have to compete for gametime at super level. Then again, the Brumbies have managed to balance a rotation of Hooper, Frost, Swain and Neville pretty well over the last few years so it's definitely possible.

    Queensland Reds 2025

I wonder if Gibbon being signed confirms that Ravai won't be re-signed? Big loss if so, but makes sense if RA are pushing for a decrease in non-Aus eligible players, especially in the front row.
