    Tri Nations Game 6 - Wallabies vs All Blacks - Saturday 27 August 2011 - 3N2011

Looks like Genia will play. http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/wallabies/wallabies-halfback-will-genia-brushes-off-injury-talk-says-he-will-play-tri-nations-decider-against-new-zealand/story-e6frf55l-1226122639525 ' "I think a lot has been made of it but it's not something's that too serious,"...

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

I wonder if Toulon told Gits not to play. The season starts over there next week, right?

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Haha, I was just editing my entry to say the exact same thing about Adam Byrnes when you beat me to it, Braveheart. Not speaking Russian must be a bit of a difficulty in the lineouts... It will probably just make him crankier and more likely to clock someone.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

I have a Canadian mate who predicted Cudmore would top the yellow card count at the World Cup... I'm expecting some interesting moments!

Media talks in chaos - no Australian press at the World Cup?

Or more of them, as they'll still have column inches to fill.

Drown out the haka: Bledisloe II | Tri Nations finale

Jesters slitting throats. Now that WOULD be scary.

Press releases from the ARU Media Unit

That was a good rant, Cat A. As both an editor and a writer, I feel your pain/rage/frustration.

    English Away Jersey

I was just speaking to a mate in the UK, and he said that the press coverage and fan response to the jersey has been overwhelmingly negative as well. Don't think they'll be selling many of them. I wonder if the players themselves are going to be a bit embarassed about wearing them in NZ...

    Berrick Barnes

Ha, whoever chose that photo was having a laugh, it makes him look like a singer in a teen boy-band or something. Nonu must be shitting himself.

RWC 2011 France or England? (If we make the semis.)

On paper, we are a far superior team to England, but they still give me the fear - they really do seem to be our bogey team. I'm definitely scarred after living in the UK during the 2003 WC (and the Ashes loss a couple of years later). Yes, it is a great generalisation, but England supporters...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

I thought the atmosphere at the game was pretty good ... but then I was rather boozed, as were most of the people around me, which makes a fair difference!

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

Got my world cup jersey too, it arrived really fast. I think I ordered it last Wednesday and it arrived on Tuesday morning. I shoulda ordered a medium though, not a large. Doh.

    Wallabies Jerseys Going Cheap

I ordered a brand spanking new Wallabies jersey this morning from the site in the original post (hurrah for the world cup ones not having sponsorship plastered all over them). However, I just received a message from my bank - they detected some kind of skimming fraud operating on my credit...

    ARU Advertisement

Great ads. Also notable that with such a mix of sports stars on show there are no league players!

    Tahs v Fiji Warriors

Cross in particular seemed to be dropping the ball every time it came to him. There seemed to be a really good atmosphere at the game, at least around where I was sitting with the missus. Everyone seemed to be having a genuinely good time rather than the mutters and scowls you often saw at 'tah...

IRB Try of the Year 2010 - voting open

As much as it pains me to say it, I reckon Ashton's try against us will win it, if only purely because thousands of English supporters will vote for it. If only Gilbert had scored that incredible solo try against Wales, I reckon it would have been a shoe-in, though...

IRB Try of the Year 2010 - voting open

http://www.irb.com/history/awards/index.html# 18 tries to choose from, including two from Wallabies (JOC (James O'Connor) and Ashley-Cooper) and one from the Wallaroos (Cobie-Jane Morgan). Not sure which try I'll be voting for yet...
