100% it does - but common sense can't be found in QSRU Committee or QRU committee for that matter. With a bit of luck at the upcoming AGM for Subbies some new blood gets in on the executive and they can inject some enthusiasm into the comp.

The whole idea that you can only play Barber and Pegg if you have 2 teams only works if there is more 7-8 teams in the competition. Last year was embarrassing. The subbies committee need to pull their finger out and rejuvenate the competition structure.

I refuse to feel sorry for Logan.Yes the QRU are a shambles and should have provided more resources to Logan and yes the self interest of some Premier Clubs is counter-productive to the development of Premier Rugby however Logan as a club should take their share of responsibility for this...

Wynnum would be stupid to elevate themselves into the Brisbane comp immediately. Sustaining their numbers over a few years would be the key before submitting any request to perhaps move into 1st Grade and below. There is talk they may have 2 colts teams in 2018 and are aiming for 3 seniors...

QRU aside - surely Logan should have been more proactive in searching for ideas at the start of 2017 season when they couldn't filed any colts teams and then again mid season when they could only regularly field 1 Saturday team. Logan don't even compete with suburban clubs for colts/senior...

No idea how they are going to afford these pay outs! They couldn't even afford the temporary alcohol licence for the Premier Grade finals - needed a local Brisbane pub to step in for them... Shambles

Dudded by his assistants? I am 100% sure he would have had input on his assistants... Buck stops with the head coach - if things aren't going well he should have the balls to step in and change it. I am sure the assistants will now be searching for new positions but blaming them for Stiles...

I understand Premier Clubs want them booted down to Suburban rugby - the clubs down there don't want them either after a few unsavory incidents with their Friday night team......
